Here are the current MLS players who's USMNT stock is rising:

1. Lletget: has scored 5 goals and assisted on a couple more since joining LA a month ago.

2. Ethan Finlay: 5 goals and ten assists so far. Arguably the best winger in MLS the past two seasons.

3. Darlington Nagbe: while his stats haven't ben min blowing this season, he has still been Portlands best player. Will have citizenship by September.

4. Dillon Powers: The lone bright spot for Colorado this season.

5. Fatai Alashe: much better as a 6 versus as an 8 as displayed last night. Mature performances this season for a rookie.

These players are the ones to continue to watch this year for a USMNT call up after the Gold Cup.

Player whose stock continues to slide:

Luis Gil: regressing a lot this season. I haven't been on his hype train for awhile now. Still young, but unwound go as far as saying he isn't u23 starting material either. Would love to see Holmes given a chance with the u23's.

that interesting. Luis Gil should be doing better but just at 21 he still has time on his side. Maybe a change of place would help?
Loving Lleget but he still needs at least a season under LA before we talk USMNT. Olympics for him should be good though. Wouldnt mind him playing friendlies though with the full squad like morris, wood, zarders and few players have benefited.
