Happy they got the result, but not happy with that performance. But group play is about getting results.

Not the most inspired subs, but they got the job done. Lol'ing at everyone on here bitching about Evans when he was coming on. In Klinsi We Trust.

We played poorly but we won. That's the sign of a winning team sometimes. And Honduras is arguably the 3rd or 4th best team in this competition. I'll take it.

Just want to point out that Mexico was even worse against this Honduras team last week. That's what this Honduras team does. They defend, play physical, and counter attack on sloppy giveaways.

First game was ugly. They'll clean it up.

Honduras was really good.

3 good subs. Especially Evans.

Brooks was good. Alvarado was poor.

Yes.... but.... also we're staring at a couple of problems:

-sleepy attack for some of the game
-some defensive problems
-bad subs from Der Juergen (specifically Zusi, not Evans. Wondo is a push because Jozy didn't really do any better. How bad is ArJo in camp? Or did he take a shit in the equipment bag or something?)

The gold cup is a long tournament biggest thing for me is improvement from this point on forward. Now if we play like this against haiti or panama then I will deffiently be concerned. This is definitely not our best 11 I would like to see some new players introduced against Haiti. Gonzalez in for Alvarado. Altidore wasnt good neither was wondo I think we should try AJ and Dempsey. Chandler just not good enough I thought evans played well. I think if we get the w against haiti if panama ties honduras or honduras beats panama then we can deffiently play our second string against panama.
