Are you guys that high on Klinsmann? I see him as a decent U20 keeper who might be an MLS starter down the road.
its hard to say I really haven't seen much of him. He was scored on by a deflect d shot and then there was the pks- but glad, EPB and crew really limited the opportunities. I would be surprised if vom Steeg isn't better.

I'm high on Tyler Adams however. Baller status, and if we can get the attackers to play better, him and EPB is quite the midfield. Scouts will be all over Adams.

Cody Cropper, lol

I know this site is about the under 20's. Let me get to my point.

We ALL saw Cropper underwhelm in games and it was basically down to bad reflexes. Cropper is NEVER going to get that down.

Zach Steffen literally saved us in the Serbia game and we SHOULD HAVE WON IF NOT FOR NERFING PENALA LWEJLKJW EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

ok sorry about that. But Zach Steffan literally was born with better reflexes than Cropper. Is Cropper a better goalie at this point. Probably. Steffan will be better than him when he gets to his age.

Steffen also has played every game for Columbus and has more saves, lower GAA, and a better save percentage. You could argue Steffen is better now as a 20 yr old then Cropper at 24.

i love that kid, he's big at least as big as Cropper, great reflexes, and from what I remember he tried putting a move ont he colombian attacker at the world cup, EXTREMELY calm with the ball. He's our no. 1 if he projects linearly at this point. And I heard he's genetically predisposed to male pattern baldness. As you know tha'ts a must for our keepers.

It sounds like this was a last gasp for certain players to break through the qualifying team as it still doesnt include the "ringers" like Gaines, Zelalem, etc.

Also it was reported that kai Korenick accepted a call up but Vitesse said no and also that Antone Robinson (LB) has said he'll be part of the 35 man prelim team. He would help shore up LB if Farfan isnt there

So we are a month out-- if people are called what is our best team? Remember Ramos always likes to plug in a surprise or two, for me those will be guys like Robinson, Zelalem, McKennie and Josh Perez. I think our best team (though lacking at striker once again) is defensive and good in the midfield...

Tab loves his 4-3-3 until they prove otherwise...

Lennon --- Sabbi --- Perez
---- akale -- Zelalem ---
------- Adams -------
Borges - CCV - EPB - Fossey
------ vom Steeg -----
Subs: McKennie, Williamson, Ebobisse

Olosunde- I forgot about him completely. I definitely feel confident in a lot of these players Tab will have good choices to make rather than choosing between two crapsters for spots on the field. I'm very excited to see what's become of Akale during his training but not playing at Villarreal.

I'm on board.

Also, I'm realizing what held me back from being a better keeper, this damn luscious head of hair. Oh well.

No chance on Weah. If U17 fails, and they bring in one guy Id imagine it would be Sargent as he's been brought into U20 camp before.

Im just glad Weah is still with US for the youth teams and hasnt switched to France (although with Mbappe maybe he realized his position will be claimed for the next decade)
