Would not be surprised. Man U wants to win Europa and why put a starter out there in a meaningless game that can only be a negative for a starter.

This would've been my squad if all Euro teams released there US players.

Squad:

Gk: Klinsmann, JT, Vom Steeg

Def: CCV, Redding, EPB, Glad, Olosunde, Fossey, Acosta

Mid: De la Torre, Williamson, Zelalem, Jones, Akale, Perez, Mckennie, Adams

Fwd: Lennon, Ebobisse, Young, Saucedo, Sabbi

Starting 11:
-----Klinsmann-----
Fossey-CCV-EPB-Olosunde
---Mckennie-Zelalem---
------Akale------
Perez--Lennon--Young

But the world isn't perfect...just hope we show well in the WC and make it out of the group.

I would put Haji Wright over young. He was one of the best players for Shalke U19 team. And might debut this weekend would be awesome if he scores.

In the opening matches England crushed Argentina (3-0). Venezuela beat Germany (2-0) and Mexico needed a 94th minute goal to beat Vanuatu (won 3-2). Goes to show how unpredictable the u20 World Cup can be. Mexico is in trouble as they now pretty much have to beat Germany or they'll likely be 3rd as Germany and Venezuela will likely win by a good amount against Vanuatu.

Weston mckinnie played the last 15' for shalke. Nice to see another American teenager debut in the bundesliga. Wouldn't be shocked if he makes a step up like ccv did and play cup games and make game day rosters. He may even get some 10-15' appearances since mf actually sun during games unlike cb.

Sargent is the real deal.

De la Torre looks good.

Jones shouldve started. Need his physicality. He broke up the play thay led to the goal.

Sucks for Zelalem. Thought he was ok until he got hurt.
