Yea it was a one sided game.. didn't even watch the women's game just the highlights everywhere around were showing Copa America game. Either way I think it will be Brazil vs Argentina in the Semis.. To bad Neymar is out.

Brazil is out on penalties in the quarterfinals Dunga might not be safe he wasnt the most popular coach in brazil and this certainly will not help. Even without Neymar you have to find a way to beat Paraguay with the talent you still have. Even if they hire a new coach Brazil needs a lot of work to get better as a unit.

Brazil has looked bad all Copa America... Honestly i think usa, mexico and Costa Rica will spank on Brazil if we were to play them. To bad we didn't get invited we could of done some damage in this Copa America had we taken our full squad... There is no stand out team. I think the Final will be Chile vs Argentina!

The problem is that Brazil isn't producing many good forward thinking coaches these days. Coaches in Brazil are getting retreaded continuously at the club level.

Brazil needs a foreign coach IMO.

No they do have a foreign coach if anything their best one ever.... The problem is the player selection many don't get along with the coach... Big players were left out like Kaka, Ronaldinho, Oscar, Adriano, Dante, Rafinha, Marcelo ect...

The revolving door at the club level is a big part of it but I think it's cultural, too. Look at the characteristics of the stereotypical Brazilian player: ridiculous skill, no brain, weak mentality, poor teamwork. Those types of players never end up being good coaches.

Argentines, on the other hand, tend to be much more well-rounded players, and culturally, Argentines are more intellectual than Brazilians. Buenos Aires has the highest amount of bookstores per capita of any city in the world. Brazilians, on the other hand, typically don't read. I don't think it's a coincidence that Argentina produces a lot of good coaches, far more than Brazil. I realize this is quite an un PC post but just my observations.

After that 7-1 beat down Brazil won't be the same.. It psychologically scarred them for life... I predict at least another 50 years at least til Brazil wins a tournament. Just look at their sub 20's even they were affected. And one of my Brazilian buddies told me himself...

it was a double yellow, the dude got one when he got into with Vidal. Stupid mistake from the player, why would you do that in front of the referee?

No he didn't get a red for getting into it with Vidal he got it a few minutes later after throwing a player to the floor off the play. And deserved the Red he had been warned.
