Omar is good when he plays simple as a defender.

I hope this version of America shows up against Seattle next month. Can't wait to see Morris blow by these players.

Alvarado keeping pace with Lozano. That tells you that Alvarado has more than enough speed to play RB.
Hes got great ball skills for a defender. With Ream left and Alvarado right we have the "Germany" look when they had Howedes as RB... Basically four across the back with the outside backs mainly defending but having the ability to cross the ball offensively.

If Gonzo keeps playing well with Pachuca won't be surprised if he and Brooks are our Copa America starters.. Alvarado is Playing RB he can also be our starter there. All we need is a LB maybe Villafana ?? Because Yedlin and Cameron have fallen out of favor for their clubs...

It amazes me how people come up with some of these theories. Cameron hasn't "fallen out of favor"....He's been injured. He'll be back into the starting 11 for Stoke within a week or 2. While I'm not against giving Villafana and Alvarado chances at LB & RB (respectively) they will still need to win spots over Ream/Shea @ LB and Chandler/Yedlin @ RB. Not saying that can't do it, but it's not a forgone conclusion either. As for Brooks, he still has a lot of maturing to do and will have to beat out Besler for the starting LCB role. Having Gonzalez playing well with Pachuca is a bonus. If he continues to perform than it only improves the depth at RCB (Cameron, Gonzalez, Miazga, Alvarado) which may lead to Cameron moving to CDM next to Bradley.
Copa America is still a long ways away and a lot of things can happen between then and now.

How is Chandler a top choice RB besides JK favoritism? He sucks for the national team and should not be given anymore chances. That amazes me, for almost every one here still counts him in and he sucks. Ppl count in AJ, who has been injured. Who knows if he gets his game back.

Chandler is not a top choice people just include him because if healthy we all know jurgen will call him in to start.

Also Villafana at LB is great. Yes he has to earn it there is still Shea, Ream and Garza in the mix. I hope with all the CB we can move cameron to CDM because you know... starts and plays well in the Premier League

Chandler is still a top choice RB due to the overall lack of options at that position. We have a total of 5 RBs at the moment....
1) Cameron - Best of the bunch but needed at RCB and possibly CDM above RB.
2) Yedlin - Still very raw and needs to improve his consistency as well as defensive positioning, but is improving.
3) Chandler - has the tools to be a lockdown RB and contribute to the attack, but seems to have trouble playing with the US.
4) Lichaj - Has the ability to be a very good RB but for some reason JK isn't giving him a real chance
5) Evans - Has played well at RB but at 31 and with his injury history cannot be looked upon to be around much longer.

Until the younger generation (Yedlin, Payne, etc...) gain enough experience with their clubs to overtake Chandler we'll continue to see him called into camps.

At this point I think we just need to ride with Yedlin and help him gain as much experience at RB as possible.
With the improvement and work ethic he has shown, I don't think there is much reason to doubt that he will continue to get better, he'll get better defensively and more consistent.
We just need to get him the experience.

The Dream starting for Santos, no not Hakeem . Gil and Johnny B for Gallos. Santos up 2-0. Gil has looked good, has quick ball movement and good first time passing.
