Well, we are here. Less than a day away, and all out key players have been rested and there are no suspensions.

I like watching this team they have skills. I want to see a W (Colombia thinking the same)!! Should be a cracker...

Id be surprised if that wasnt the lineup. The guys who had chances to maybe work there way into the lineup did nothing. Personnaly Id love to se Rejo at LB with Acosta instead of Delgado but I think Tab has shown what he thinks his best lineup is.

Man, if you just move Acosta to CDM and put Requejo at LB...

Also agree, Acosta to CDM and Requejo at LB would be a nice surprise but not likely.

I wouldn't be upset with Thompson over BJIV either but that's just me.

When the tournament started I wanted Acosta at DM, but unless Delgado gets a card in this game and gets suspended, he's got to be our guy at this point.
I was going to make an argument for Zelalem to start on the bench, either for Allen or Soñora. I could see it as it would allow Gedion to come on as an impact sub if we are losing. That's the only move I could see. I think TT comes in from the bench.

That may have been an option if Allen didnt play so poorly last game. And Sonora really struggled so far this tourney, which is a surprise because he was so good before the Cup. Id actually still like to see Sonora over Arriola

Shaq Moore has been a huge disappointment this tournament, I get that he played last game due to Payne's previous Yellow but man has Moore looked poor.

Speaking of Moore his third division SPanish side drew on the road in the first leg of their home and home. They need to win or 0-0 draw and hope for pks to advance to next playoff round if they want to play in second division next year

I'm willing to give Sonora the benefit of the doubt as he's had limited minutes and playing out of position. The emergence of Zelalem has meant there's no room in central midfield. Allen, on the other hand, has just been disappointing, no two ways about it.

Ramos took gambles on picking players like Allen and Delgado who hadn't done anything for the u20s, over guys like Gall and Pfeffer who had produced so much.

I'd say Allen was a mistake and Delgado is ok..

Hope the team brings it tonight! Or tomorrow..

My body is ready for tonight/early morning
As long as Tab Ramos don't have some weird stupid tactics then we are fine
This is the probably the closest Rd of 16 match while the rest looks somewhat 1 sided

Im confident in them. The Ukraine game was a bad performance. They still advanced. They can show they mean business by putting in the work tonight.

Excited as hell.

The challenge is whether I should watch the U-20 or MNT game first after work tomorrow? I think I'll go with the kids as this game is more important and they're sure to spoil the U-20 result during the MNT game.

All I know is that I'll be avoiding from YA like the plague tomorrow until I catch up.

If they win cool if they lose it's cool. They have already met my expectations of getting to the round of 16.

I am excited to continue to watch the development of Rubin, Zelalem, Hyndman, Miazga, EPB, CCV, Novakovich, Payne, and Sonora.
