Will be big QF matchups. Wonder how missing the gold cup guys will impact the results.

Gotta say RSL without Beckerman and Rimando against the Galaxy will be tough although if Besler gets called in along with Zusi, I would say SKC.

Well Galaxy will be without Gonzo, Penedo, Zardes and possibly Gordon. Either way galaxy always sends mostly a B team to these type of games.

I get your point although getting Lletget and now Gerrard midseason I don't see it as big of a loss as RSL.

Good to see the Red Bulls take the USOC serious this time. They have s legit shot at winning it this year.

Sure, except that the Galaxy lost a CB to the GC, and they have no depth there.

Fair enough- bye bye LA. Was basically a starting XI (as strong or stronger than RSL) and Gerrard made his debut. RSL 1, Galaxy 0.

RSL will play the winner of SKC v Houston next week.
Other QFs are: NY Red Bulls v Philly, Fire v Orlando.

Philadelphia Union with a 4-3 pk shootout win at the Red Bulls, after a 1-1 draw during the game.

SKC v Houston up next.

Both semifinals being played tonight.

Chicago at Philadelphia- the loser goes home. And for the rest of the year. These two sorry teams' league seasons are over, and so the extra importance for the game this evening. As Chicago has not won in 19 road games, it's pretty much assured that the Union will be going back to the Open Cup Final for the second straight year.

Salt Lake at Kansas City- it's all set up for Peter Vermes and the SportingKC bunch. This should be a rollover with the way they have been playing at home. Seems like a win tonight for SKC and they will be heavily favored to win the Cup.

Both games streamed via YouTube...

Come on Magee get that brace!
