My question is why have a special election. 3 days ago was the election. Just say prince Ali is new president.

That presupposes Ali would have won had blatter not been elected on the ballot. There were two additional candidates who withdrew on the grounds leading up to the election that it was predetermined outcome. One could argue as to the viability of them but it doesn't change the facts. Not to mention someone like platini who has wanted it in the past.

I'll buy that reasoning. Fair point

You just can't make this stuff up. The FIFA ship just keeps floundering.

I saw some analysts say this could happen. Announcing his resignation when it was all eyes on him, but then at the end of the 30 days change his mind. Everything is a game to him

What a joke FIFA is turning into. Sepp keeps them in the news, in the wrong light, with his "reconsideration" BS. Even his former people do not want him to stay.

Then there is this potential bombshell coming:

FIFA does not need Sepp stirring up the pot anymore. His former CONCACAF lacky Warner is doing a fine job of keeping the comedy rolling without him. If you have not seen these before, check out these:

Jack Warner FIFA TV:

LMFAO, I hope you do to.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is becoming my favorite show along with Vice. HBO is knocking it out of the park right now.

Absolutely brilliant that they bought this time slot on Trinidadian TV and Warner is such an egomaniac that he had to respond. What a joke.

I have yet to watch last night's episode, it's on my DVR, but all of John Oliver's FIFA coverage over the past 2-3 weeks has been fantastic.

53 cases of money laundering under investigation. Funny how Russia lost all the documents when FIFA ethics investigator came around.

I keep coming across these articles when I am reading regular soccer news. Here is one where CAF accepted 1.8 million dollars to let Qatar show them it's bid. It wasn't a bribe according to them they just offered it up out of the blue and Africa accepted so they could look at their bid. LOL
