There are some great matchups with all kinds of ramifications in the Bundesliga today. We're in for a treat when Fox picks up the rights next week.

Race at the bottom:

Six teams are at risk of being dropped or landing in the relegation playoff spot. Going into today the bottom of the table looks like this:

Hertha - 35 pts
Freiburg - 34 pts
Hannover - 34 pts
-------------
Stuttgart - 33 pts
-------------
Hamburg - 32 pts
Paderborn - 31 pts

There are two amazing matchups today:

Stuttgart at Paderborn
Freiburg at Hannover

The other two relevant games are:

Schalke at Hamburg
Hertha at Hoffenheim

Europa League:

Right now the two Europa league spots look like this:

Schalke - 48 pts (clinched)
Augsburg - 46 pts
--------------
Dortmund - 43 pts
Werder Bremen - 43 pts

And we get Bremen at Dortmund!

Augsburg is at Gladbach.

Enjoy the games. Jetzt geht's los!!!

Chandler starting and already picked up a yellow. Fabian is on the bench and Brooks did not dress. Has he picked up an injury? Green and Goetz also did not dress for Hamburg but it's been a number of weeks since Goetz made the bench and Green's stint with Hamburg has been a complete disaster.

If the half time results hold Dortmund will have leapfrogged Augsburg for the Europa league spot and there would be no change in the relegation battle.

Drama in the last 15 minutes. If the results hold Freiburg is going down with Hamburg in the playoffs.

Augsburg is also on track for the Europa league spot.

Shawn Parker playing just got an assist for Augsburg. I wonder if Klinsmann is still trying to get him to play for the USMNT?

Freiburg relegated. I haven't hear about him in a while because of his ACL injury, but that could be a positive development for Caleb Stanko when it comes to breaking into the first team. I always liked him during the U20 cycle.

Zack Steffen is with Frieburg as well. Could he be the first choice keeper next season?

He doesn't stand a chance with Germany at this point in his career. So it would be in Parker's best interests.

How is Parker these days. Is he USMNT caliber? Will he provide quick wingplay? What can he give us (to all those who have watched him)

Parker only has 7 appearances for Augsburg this season. But I think he struggled with injuries this year. Could become a fixture for them next season considering they will be in the Europa league now.

Could be a good get for the US Olympic team.
