Lletget could play centrally I think....?
He could definitely play in a narrow diamond midfield.
For the Galaxy he plays LM in a 4-4-2, and the diamond is not always narrow, and he does well... but, yeah, he doesn't have blazing speed.

So for int'l ball, he probably cannot play real wingy in a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

What he does have is smarts and he's been scoring with both feet. He doesn't blow by people as much as find the right spot, or sometimes he cuts across people fairly well.

I suspect the Galaxy is about to become an embarrassment of riches. They don't have a great defense, but I'm not sure it will matter when your mid and fwd are Juninho, Gerard, Lletget, Zardes, Keane and Dos Santos.

I'm honestly embarrassed with the Dos Santos thing. I wouldn't say that move had 'parity' in mind, as much as forming an MLS team that can make a run in the CCL.
For that, though, I think we're one LCB short, at least.

Yeah, i like his movement. Diagonal runs or any run into space. Really smart. How could he had only played one match at west ham and no other team showed any interest? Even in the championship. Not only that, the fans always showed him love like someone had mentioned here, they loved him. Ill bet he will and can be more successful than Zusi at the international level. Brad Davis too. Joe Benny. And Chuck D, has he done enough? Cant wait till the next US games, hopefully ppl deserving get call ups. De Leons beauty of a goal. Hot damn..

LLetget has slowly been earning his spot over Mix... Bruce is a great coach that brings the best out of everyone... Honestly should be considered as the Greatest coach in MLS History!!!

Lletget has earned a call up. We have no idea how he will preform for the nats yet.

I grow tired of our constantly rotating lineup. I think we should have an established starter for each position and they should not be replaced until someone proves that they can play for the nats at a consistently higher level.

The cheap earthquakes ownership is beyond frustrating! I'll bet the owner goes to costco just for the free samples!

The fire could be a dangerous team if they can just really mold together. Some talented players in that squad.

The Fire need to really go hard for Chicharito or another Mexican National Team player or a big name. That city is way to big to not fill that stadium every week. Accam has been one of the best signing in the league. The league needs more African talent, so many hidden gems.

I just went to Chicago. One of the sickest cities I've been too. They need a downtown stadium location to get the big time stars.

We were in downtown chicago, but the Stadium in Bridgeview was a horrible idea.

And @2tone - we've been saying that all year. Fire are possibly the worst team in MLS. Ok maybe philly is worse. Wait until next year... Again. It's Open Cup or bust.

No Colorado have to be the worse team in MLS. Even their DP signings show how cheap they are.

Lletget was a proper CM when he was growing up, even as he plays on the side, he drifts inside to link up, We need players like Lletget on the Nats.

So with GDS going to Galaxy, are the Galatics going to lineup a 6 man attack front?

(I would do it if I were coach.... I have no experience in coaching)

stache with a goal and an assist in road win
benny with a league leading assist
nguyen with a goal in big win for NER
diskerud starts on bench for NYC

gee, too bad it goes against JKs philosophy to bring in and play your most talented players in their best positions

oh well
