First visit to sporting park. Good setting, waiting to go inside and see what all the fuss is about.

Come on Harry and you men in red! SKC rumored to be waiting some weird argyle kit. Besler will look extra smug today if that's the case.

Do you guys prefer seeing a game played at a proper stadium but on turf (e.g. Providence Park in Portland) or a game played on grass on a futsal sized pitch like Yankee Stadium?

Turf. Well, for me I say turf. From tv, the Portland games(field wise ex ball movement) it doesn't look bad at all.

Observations:

1. What a great stadium KC has. Fantastic on the inside.
2. Besler has lost "it". Got away with an obvious pk, was consistently poor. Brooks should be sipping his coffee. Alvarado too. Even Tim Ream. Besler needs better performances, or his time may be over.
3. Matt Polster can play. Very smooth doing everything and has an engine to go 90'.

Sounds like you had a good experience.

I don't know what it is about MLS this year but I'm enjoying this season more than any other. Maybe it's because the Predictions league has me invested more than in previous seasons. Or perhaps the quality is just better.

Definitely the predictions league...

I'd like to see Polster get a look in the u23s I believe he qualifies. Plays that fluid style we look for.

I've now been to Columbus, KC, DC (rfk) and of course NE. Chicago has the worst SSS of them, NE needs one along the lines of what KC has got. I'm drooling over the chance to get to the new quakes arena I hear it's the shiznit.

Were you at RFK for a DC United game or a US game? It's a dump no matter what but I actually really like it when it's completely packed for the MNT. It makes a big difference.

I've been there a long time ago for bears redskins... And for a MLS match. Definitely was rocking as an NFL stadium. Big difference. I wait and hope you all end up with the right stadium experience- in the new stadium? What's happened to that?

Free parking everywhere around Sporting Park by the way folks.

Ham - agree about Polster. Saw him in SJ and was very impressed...one of the best players in the game. I watched the Chi-KC game and he was even better. Dude's a blue chipper. I think rookie of the year will be neck and neck between Polster and Alashe. . Alashe took a knee in the back and had to leave the game tonight... looks like he might not be available for Toulon. Hope Polster gets called in...

The final stretch of the English league season is upon us, with several Americans on the verge of relegation with their teams.
