Yeah, the league shouldn't call anything a DP contract unless it's hands-down clear it's a superlative player.

The fans are there for Orlando. Dang! Do they have a supporters' group called the The Ruckus? Nice.

Also skangles, yeah what a day for Meara to be the hero and the goat in 90 mins.

I feel bad for OCSC they are very soon gonna start losing some fan base. In all honesty they are the most pathetic and worst team to watch in MLS. They just plain out stink, need like 5 new players at least. Specially Forwards/Attackers... Kaka can't do it alone!!!

Who cares? OCSC deserve nothing. Like Kaka was just going to bring a title. Too bad for them the East is starting to carry some weight. I've been most impressed with the early play of NYRB, DC, and of course my Fire. Orlando needs to get in line, there are other teams who deserve to get accolades, not the fake NYCFC or the new lions from Orlando.

That OCSC - TFC game was not called well.
I just watched the 50 Shades of Red weekly review of calls.
That's what they're calling it now....

Also, Simon Borg gets my nomination for the most annoying MLS journo anywhere.
I hate his guts and he doesn't know what he's talking about with most of those referee decisions.

What were the issues? I watched but can't quite remember exactly what was called poorly. I think Doyle is worse on there but that's me.

What do I think was called poorly by the refs, or by Simon Borg?

Simon Borg's whole goal is to stir up controversy to make the league more exciting by having talking points, disagreements, etc etc.
He'll just say every call should have been a different call or card for the sake of it.

He doesn't know a slow, clumsy 2-footed challenge with studs in from a fast, aggressive one with studs out. He thinks they're all red cards, or at least he's playing the role of someone who does. He's said his job is to stir the pot for the sake of it on the MLS podcast. After he said like a dozen ignorant things for the joy of it, I stopped listening to that podcast.

Now I listen only to Men In Blazers. GFOP!

They have some talented players. It's tough to come in as an expansion team and win in MLS. I have noticed that they try to pass the ball to Kaka no matter what and that leads to a ton of turnovers. Once someone else besides Kaka steps up it will free him up to be even more dangerous. They remind me of the Mexican national team, some great individual players but don't really gel that well as a team.
