He's sucked in a US jersey, that's why. And these are the only times I (and probably most others here) have seen him.

OK, so maybe I'll "learn to love him." But I can promise you I won't start loving him before he stops sucking every time I see him play.

I feel the same way i could care less what he does for his club until he plays well for USA he ain't crap. He has sucked every time in a us jersey idk why JK keeps calling him up i'm guessing this will be his last chance to impress.

just want to point out that if people want to mention a winger that is not getting deserving looks, its got to be ethan finlay.

I mentioned him about a page back. I think he would be an alternative to Diskeruud, assuming Diskerud's place on the roster is not for a #6.
I like Diskerud, I just also like players losing and gaining spots with the NT based on a) how they're playing and b) to avoid complacency.

If JK's going to do it to LD before the WC, he certainly could afford to do it to Mix and Gyasi right now. I'm pretty sure JK has said himself that for any good NT program, if you're not cutting it, there's someone right behind you.

Given the way the roster reads, Finlay could certainly argue that he deserves the place of either Ibarra or Diskerud. Shipp could argue a place over Ibarra.

im not saying he is not on peoples radar, i just think playing in c-bus most people dont realize quite how good he has been.

if he continues at this pace through the summer he needs to be called in post gold cup

Twellman had an unusual take right before the Mexico game or perhaps during regarding inclusion of some players i think if I remember at the time it was more in reference to Ibarra and Morris but I do wonder a little if there is some validity in his comments. He mentioned he felt they were message sending callups in light of ongoing feuds and views on mls from
Jk
I thought that was a stretch at the time and a bit conspiracy theoryesque but part of me wonders when I see certain that players being called time and again how much in this phase of the JK plan is it due to wanting to send certain messages to his team and aspiring players on it and how much is for the players themselves. When I see certain players getting ignored who are playing at a high level in MLS while other not players my at all for their club are called in I suspect perhaps his comments were closer to the truth than not. Not quite the same reasoning as twellman but along those same lines.

I have absolutely no authority and very little influence but I approve this lineup!

Official starting lineup
4-3-3

Fab-Arjo-Zardes
Bradley-Morales-Beckerman
Shea-Brooks-Alvardo-Chandler
Guzan

Not a bad lineup. Would have preferred no Beckerman but at least hes giving Morales a chance instead of Mixx

Funny. I noticed herzog is there with klinsmann. You would think he would still be in France. That makes a little more sense why Morris is there.

Edit: I don't know what Keller's voice sounds like.

And did Chandler just shoot/cross with his left foot??

Chandler looking good, having a great game so far. It's about time he has a good game for the US. I hope he can keep it up for as long as he is in.
