We just plain stink right now. We experimented more than enough and no progress. Screw it call back Bocanegra, Cherundolo, Donovan, Beasley, Howard ect.. And I will bet anyone we will play better than this team even at their current age and add Dempsey to.

Zardes has got the goods but his decision making is poor. I think it'll come with time but some stuff that flies in MLS won't fly on the international stage.

Zardes is the one player who needs to go play in Europe to develop more

That was a very cohesion effort up until the subbing started. It looked like real ball. Good movement off the ball and very simple quick easy play. The week of training paid off....night and day from the Denmark game.

Shea was good, he played simple and had some great crosses and his free kick was stellar...very encouraging, he made good timely decisions with the ball..you can't ask for anything more...he's starting to put it together.

Bedoya was very solid up field...everybody looked solid in the first half.

I think Jozy was a little frustrated with his own play and some early non-calls that didn't go his way. You could tell he was mentally getting a little sideways and his game was sliding well before he boiled over...which was beyond weak on his part...pure dumbass.

Zardes had a few wobbly moments, but I liked what I saw from him much more than what I saw from Jozy. More hustle, no bitching, quicker lay-offs...seemed to be more engaged in the flow of the game...keener focus...better decisions. I'm wondering if Jozy is feeling some competitive pressure from Zardes...who knows, he didn't help himself with that showing.

I'm very happy Berti is in the fold.

I didn't like the Bedoya sub...unless he was flat out gassed, which I doubt. You need him on to help keep the ball. Yedlin thrown into another tough defensive situation. He and Morales made a hash of the Swiss goal...but after seeing the replay, Brooks is too far out...needs to be in the center of the box...he left the most dangerous area to be covered by shorter mids.

1-1 was a little flattering but a good point on the road with 10.

Thumbs up for the defensive cohesion and way we played in the first half, and the play of Zardes and Shea.

Jozy was just angry cause he can play against tougher defenders, he's shown it plenty of times and he's LAZY!!!!!! You see everyone pressure except him. I'm tired of seeing Jozy play the full game, he's a 60 minute player and he goes off and looks at the referee dead in the eye and tells him "F you, F you!" Just was mad cause he couldn't do anything against better defenders... Zardes looked lost the whole game except for some parts, he kept crashing into other players and couldn't read the game well, kept running into spaces where he wasn't open. Shea kept getting beat, he had a OK game, nothing spectacular minus the goal. Chandler busted a chandler at the end of the game as always....position or out of position Bradley is losing it, he's too slow off the ball and awareness is lacking. Also the dude turns the ball over way too many times now, ever since he came back to the MLS he lost his sharpness of the game... don't me wrong I just started watching my new team NYCFC but the game here is nothing like over in Europe and South America.

Bedoya was the smartest player and you could tell he stood out from the whole team, you could tell he knew how to play in the tempo of the game and reads it well. Williams had a pretty solid game and so did Morales, although he did look extremely tired by the. 75th minute. I'm excited to see more of Alverado and the goalie from Leon play more for us, oh and brooks had a pretty good game except for certain parts as well.

Will you go away? You have nothing good to say ever! We had more chances, created more and looked good until Dumbass Altidore! Face it, we are a counter attacking team as usual. No we never have majority of possession. We should have won easily, yes we need to take advantage of opportunities created but this Swiss team is better than Denmark and I thought we looked tons better. Yes, we have more to grow before GC and we will.

Could of should of but we Didn't!! At the end of the day all that matters who scores the most goals. We have been one of the worst teams since the WC. Will it change anytime soon ??? Who knows we just can't finish games. Well at least we have the GC coming were gonna play some inferior teams til the semis and Final. Should be a cake walk. We have to put teams away before we get into those type of situations late and a big part of that is coaching we haven't had any of that since the WC. We also have experimented plenty by now you should know who your main core of players are but knowing JK he will keep experimenting all the way til the 2018 WC.

Some fun facts:
Paul Carr ESPN
USMNT has 7 wins/draws in 12 European road games w/ Klinsmann.

U.S. had 7 wins/draws in 26 Euro road games from 1992-2010.

Don't you know that stats don't matter when it comes to the USMNT under Klinsmann! Sarcasm.

Absolutely telling stat on how far the USMNT has come under Klinsmann in 3 and half years.

Overall not a bad International break for the USMNT. They lose a close won to Denmark, and tie the 12th ranked team in the world at their home stadium.

There were some negatives and some positives to take away.

What matters now is continuing to build a good Gold Cup squad.

Mexico in April can't wait.

I am a fan of Shea at LB. Won't be the last time we see him there, I can predict that confidently.

Game vs Mexico will be a bit meaningless since their top players won't be available while we will have most of ours. Either way is always a good game and very competetive should be a good measuring stick for our domestic and Liga MX players.

I was very pleased with this game overall.

After being very frustrated that there was no game plan or idea of how the team wanted to play against Denmark this was far far better. The group seemed to know what they were doing, they were ok not to possess which is typically the case away against a good team and they created more good looks than Switzerland which was great to see.

Thought Bradley and Williams worked great together. I like Bedoya wide, he offers a lot and plays a lot like Donovan did when he was on his game. We're still lacking another quality attacking player to play left and I have no idea who that should be.

Bradley as the CAM only works with 2 forwards ahead of him and I still prefer him deeper but it works ok in a 442 defensive posture. I thought Jozy was bad and clearly frustrated by no calls and bad traps and clearly let it get out of hand, sad to see and hopefully a learning experience for him. Zardes looks like he has an idea of what he wants to do but can't quite pull it off yet. His first touch is poor but I do appreciate his work rate.

Thought this was the best Chandler has looked offensively, he was fantastic but he really has terrible defensive instincts and loses where he is on the field often, scary scary stuff to see him raising his hand for off sides on the goal when he was standing next to the goal haha.

But this game gave me some hope, which is an improvement over the Denmark Game.

Another away game on USA soil against Mexico, should be fun!
