nyc and mix both looked strong in 2nd half - beating revs going away. mix could have had an assist or two and helped control middle. of course they went up a man in the 66th, so made things a little easier
villa quite possibly best player in league and NYC already looks like legit play-off contender - possibly more once lampard arrives
sacha/nyrb in spotlight next week - home to DCU

I'm lost on all of this villain-speak, but I think Sacha will do fine enough in the MLS but Klinnsman won't call him in, and we'll beat this thread to death about it because Rain will rightfully be upset and the rest of us will keep telling him why Mix is good enough for us, even though he will never agree. I see this just being depressing, but cheers to the effort, boys. And dolecm I don't know what it is man. I'm usually here for the medium length posts that are concise and efficient. You cover your bases, but I only shit for 10 or 15 minutes max, and I'm trying to get my fill of info. Gotta cut the fat and get to the juicy stuff man!
You're the one that lives in Thailand right? If you're gitting 'er done in ten minutes I guess you could teach a thing or two about efficiency then! I had to spend half the day in the bathroom every time I went there. In all serious, the bold part of that post was 14 sentences...if that's too long for the kids of today than I'm nervous about where the world is headed.

Oh, well I've actually never even opened that thread so I guess I can't speak for everyone else. Haha, but yes I'm in Thailand. Cast iron stomach!

Both players are good. I don't see such a huge gap in their games that I think for example; wow, Mix is way better than Sacha.
I do feel that Mix is still very young and improving year to year. Sacha is now 29 and if players are pretty much equal then it makes sense to go with the younger improving player.

good time to bump this thread...
sacha with game winner tonight
NYRB through 4/17:
- 1st in eastern conference
- best PPG in MLS (2.2) - have played DCU (2nd best PPG in MLS) twice, C-bus and KC on road and SJE (who currently sit 3rd in west)
- best GD in MLS
- most goals scored in MLS
if RB could pick up a DP over summer they could be downright scary
lets see what mix does under lights on sunday...

He looked like a real assassin against that comical weak side clown car defending.
I was much more impressed with Miazga...solid stuff from a 19 year old CB.

Pointless thread... It's not like he's playing Germany or Netherlands. Until he impresses vs them, Kljestan has proven nothing.
See how that works?

absolutely. we just disagree about how getting that opportunity works. you and JK think putting in average performances in semi-pro norwegian league and being an utter failure for U-23s is the ticket.
some people think that is an odd way to assign opportunity
yes, everyone and their mother is going to look good v a mexico that plays SIX players with fewer caps than jordan morris
obviously tells us jack shit
see how that works?

Can't take a joke rain? Thought it was pretty funny myself.
And no, I'm not sure anyone things playing in a crap league proves anything. What proves something is when they play against international competition they don't look severely out of place. Kljestan was good at looking out if place when given the chance at the highest level.
He was also given a few camps under JK and still couldn't get a look.
The media currently despises JK yet no one is screaming for Kljestan to start.
To be honest neither player takes us to the next level. We need youth prospects to step up.

Yeah Miazga is really turning into a very solid CB. I think him and CCV continue as the starting CB's for the U20's. Palmer-Brown will be the backup. Looking forward to the continued development of these three young talented CB's.
