Well his manager at his club thinks he will be one of the best center-backs in England in the future. Hopefully, he is right and hopefully he is playing with the US.
CCV starting in the league cup against the shite. Zelalem on the bench against Reading.

2-1 loss, but from the BBC about Carter-Vickers: "On his second start for Spurs, the USA Under-23 international faced the movement of Liverpool's tricky front three (which included Sturridge and Origi). He stood up to it as well as anyone in a white shirt."

I watched part of the game. He seemed pretty anonymous in it. Which isn't a bad thing as a defender. Definitely not a RB IMO, but I get it, anything to get on the field. He is really a man. Should make a great defensive mid one day. Basically, a Beckerman with some ball skill and some mobility.

One of Juergen's strengths was how much he valued CCV. I hope Il Bruce follows suit.

This is the internet, I don't have to pronounce anything! If I want to make like Gulati and bring back 2003 MNT nostalgia in 2017 I have free reign!

Il Duece sounds like what you have when you go on road games in concacaf... or away matches as per Bradley's programming

Well technically Il Duce has been around MUCH longer than Il Bruce. Just not in reference to USMNT.
(Il Duce = Mussolini)

CCV started Spurs' ICC match vs PSG and played the first 45. Had a shaky showing and was exposed on PSG's first goal. Considering how few minutes he's had it's not surprising and he's young. Hopefully he sees more minutes in pre-season and maybe in FA cup.
