There's kind of an interesting thing going on with the Donadel red card in the MTL @ LA game from Friday. It's anything from
a) Jermaine Jones cynically throwing himself on the ground, plus referee incompetence, to
z) The cameras not really catching Donadel's right arm hitting Jones in the neck or chin, then Jones making a meal of it but the referee being 100% right.
You can see Donadel's left arm very easily in the various angles, but not his right.
No referee's angle, or good video yet.

The best angle is from the Twitter video 10% of the way down the page in the recap:

...quick reminder that I am both a LAG fan who is critical as hell of LAG, and also not a huge Jones fan. So this is all priceless for me.

Looks like the ejections for Asad (AFC) and Donadel (MTL) are going to stand.

Watching it live, it looked like JJ sold the hell out if it. Just a bad look when the toughest dude on the field is clowning for foul calls. Jozy does the same thing...he plays like he's 135 lbs sometimes...burly guys flopping for fouls drives me crazy...hate seeing it from our nats players.

With Yamil Asad suspended and Josef Martinez injured, Atlanta may be a little light on attackers this week... it would be fun to see Andrew Carleton come on as a sub or even start and get some MLS action. I think we are all very curious to see how he plays with the other skilled players, now could be the time. **** Also Greg Garza has played well for them and should give Villafaña a run moving forward.

Is Chicago turning the corner with that stacked midfield or is the defense too garbage? New England looks like a W to keep it going before the road tests to come.

The Red Bull's have been disappointing.

Once again the very best in MLS is Oscar Pareja and his magic touch. Year after year his methods blow the others out of the water. Whatever happened to Alex Zendejas? Who cares.
