Giovinco looking dangerous early, Cheryou looking solid as well. Manneh looking like he has some speed to burn.

That pass from Giovinco and the finish from Jozy. TFC might score allll the goals

To bad the game was put on late thanks to some curling sport with a damm broom. Fail right there. Anyways it has been a very entertaining game. Anyone's game but giovinco has been really good.

MLS WEAK 1

Man we gotta get better stadiums in this league.

Loving the pace of the game this year!

Week 1 comments:

1) A Donovan-less Keane is still making the case for the best player in the league.
2) Somebody forgot to tell Comcast Sports Net (DC) that MLS changed their logo
3) Jairo Arrieta was another classic DC United pickup of turning other team's trash into treasure.
4) Bill Hamid is worthy of a DP spot. I can't think of another scenario where I'd advocate using a DP on a GK but Haimd is far more instrumental to United's success than either Espindola or EJ.
5) I was glad to see Edu back as a CM today.
6) I would much rather see Jozy playing like he did today for TFC than have to watch him with Sunderland. This was a great move for everybody.
7) Toronto's defense is atrocious. It was terrible last season and that was with Henry. They added Perquis but it didn't seem to help (granted it is early) but they should be prepared to have to win 4-3 against good teams.
8) The new Quakes stadium looks nice, too bad they couldn't pick up a win.

What a game between portland and salt lake. Timbers should of won it but gotta say Nagbe has some sick moves and ball movement can't wait to see him with the MNT soon.

Ha! My bad! I didnt see the zoom out on the highlights just assumed it was in SJ and the pitch looked good. I guess credit to the folks in Frisco then.

Could not be more excited for these three matches today. All three should be fun to watch, and all will have fantastic atmospheres. And all three on major cable networks! You're doing it, MLS! You're doing it!

Every DC United game is going to be televised in the DC market this year. That's huge. Last year I think the first United game on TV was in May.

I have no idea what to expect from either NYCFC or Orlando and based on how slow most teams have started this weekend, we probably won't learn much until teams start to find their rhythm.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mixskerud, Dane Brekken Shea and Sacha back in MLS.
