Doesnt matter about the other competition he instantly raises the bar and pushes the others to not be complacent. One of the more talented players in the whole pool

Being in the first team doesn't mean you are on the bench. It just means you train with their starters/subs/bench players. MANY first team guys rarely ever play.

Yeah Pulisic was also training with Dortmunds first team that doesn't mean he is in the First team.

and why was Pulisic training with the first team? Because he has lots of talent. So glad you get it...

Specifically, I'll point out the managers comments. If he continues to improve he will probably follow the path of the better players from last years competition winning side and go out on loan next year to Vittesse in the Eridevisie.

Chelsea is a bit of a hot mess right now. With probably no CL and maybe even no Europe, there could be a bit of a purge next season. Presumably a new manager so new opportunities so we shall see.

At any rate, he may get a few u-21 with Miazga by the end of the season

Kyle has played in all but the last UEFA youth tournament (Basically U-20 Champions league) game for Chelsea, scoring twice.

He has played well and been given a lot of praise by his coaches...it appears he is developing well.

He is fortunate that a lot of his competition is on loan (Baker and Palasic) so there is an extremely remote chance that once safety has been achieved he may get a few first team minutes. After the year they have had, the Chelsea management may want to appease the supporters by showing them a few bright lights from the academy to give them a run out (and to put a few in the shop window).

Want to see him as a leader for the u20s, going to be tough battle for that center attacking role. Can he play a box to box mid?

From what I have heard or seen Zelalem and Hyndman can be box to box midfielders even if Scott can't. Pulisic can be a Winger. I also think Zelalem and Scott can be Wingers too.

All might naturally be more central (except for Pulisic perhaps). But if those 4 continue to grow that is a very nice midfield for the future. Arsenal, Chelsea, Dortmund, and Fulham. I'll take it.

I highly doubt Hyndman is at Fulham next year. He's clearly had some kind of issue on the business side with them. I wouldnt be surprised if hes in French League or some other Championship level team (Huddersfield maybe?)

Don't forget Muk Akale over at Villarreal. He's small but very gifted and I think he's a focal part of this U20 cycle. Zelalem is an interesting skill set, and I don't think he's a pure 8 or 10 but I still think he can be very effective in the middle of the field.

I think Zelalem is going to end up a pure Box to Box midfielder. Certainly not a true Defensive Destroyer that sits deep, and not purely a guy who is essentially a false 9. But a guy who can do all of the above. Kind of like a Mikel Arteta. A guy who fills in the spots. It would be nice if he could hit a late growth spurt and add some strength to his game.
