17 yo old Kyle Scott (dual english-american, has played for USA U-18 side) is now at the moment training with Chelsea 1st team. Perhaps we could lure him to the U-20 WC, assuming he is a step up compared to our other U-20 players.

Not with the 1st team unless you have evidence to the contrary. I was emphasizing being with the 1st team as the accomplishment (esp given his age).

Yep, you're correct. I missed the 1st team when I read it the first time.

What does he play? Has he represented England on any level? Is there interest from England? Anyone know more specifics about his situation?

Wow. Sorry that is a lot of questions.

That's a crazy picture. It looks like somebody re-created the team in FIFA.

Kyle has had a break out season so far, been in great form. That's why he is training with the first team. He got called up last April for a domestic camp with the u18s. I have mentioned him several times on these threads.

Wouldn't be surprised if England called him up in the near future.. Bad for us..

Good news...hopefully it is a positive experience so he starts accepting more. The only concern is he plays a position occupied by some of our better players at that age group.

Don't get much better than being in Chelsea's first team and being wanted by Barca, Juventus, etc...

Wait first team ?? Don't think he even made the bench when they played Man city this past weekend.. And don't think Barca or Juve will get him they would of made an offer a while ago.

I believe he means he has trained with the first team from time to time, which most of the top clubs do.

He was captain of the U-18 team during todays match so must be well thought of.
