Once he turns 18 he will be eligible to play for the first team. It will be awesome when he plays in the first team.

They're still one of the top clubs in Europe, with plenty of talent. They were also high on Boyd for a while, and that didn't end up working out. Just because they're high on the kid right now doesn't mean he will ever see the first team.

I wonder if Dortmund make a play to get Boyd back this summer?

With Lewan leaving, it would be cool to see Boyd back to Dortmund. Kinda like Marco Rues, he was a Dortmund product but spent a few seasons with Borrussia Monchengladbach and now he's back with Dortmund. As for Flores, I wish him the best of luck.

I think we all have homer glasses on. Dortmund signs world class players. Terrence Boyd has not even proven he can succeed in MLS yet, much less Bundesliga mid table, much much less Bundesliga cream of crop.

Was just about to say this. I can't believe people think Dortmund would bring Boyd back. If they would, it would merely be as cover for the #1 and #2 strikers on the depth chart.

Remember: Dortmund are still a top club in Europe. Which means they can attract top talent. Terrence Boyd is not, and never will be, top talent.

But wait, I thought Dortmund doesn't buy STARS. They create their own stars. Thats what Jurgen Klopp said.

So apparently He turned Down El Salvador's call up to their senior team for 2 friendlies this Spring. He has to file a one time switch to play for them, but looks like he is focused on his work at Dortmund, since he also rejected a USA sub 20 call a few months ago. Also

Per Steven Goff via Twitter.

Meh. It's non news. I am not concerned about Flores choosing El Salvador over the US when he finally makes that decision. Choosing El Salvador will kill any WC hopes he has in the future.
