This man is a lunatic.
If you don't think he is a lunatic, then you are a lunatic too.

What's the endgame here? Is this some kind of political style smear campaign? What's your plan?

Haha. American Soccer Now is on some kind of headhunting mission too.

I am more fed up with Jurgen right now than I was with that raging lunatic Sarah Palin during her VP run. That's an incredible height. I am beyond self control right now. He is making a mockery of the team I love.

I guess I am a lunatic then.

To be honest I think there are different levels of fitness. The USMNT yes was known to be fit, but the team also played a reactive style. They would sit back and then break out on counters. Which would make it seem the team was really fit. In Klinsmann's system where they play a more proactive style of attack and defense, I think it's clear the team has had to adjust to that fitness wise. I have seen this team wilt in second halves in many games.

Until Jurgen gets a Saturday night live skit and a porn movie making fun of him, he's lagging far behind Palin.

What if anything did he say wrong in the press conference?? That was the exact game I watched. Game changed second half when we did what they wanted (go 4-4-2, take JJ out of defense and put him at mid, play Trapp and Zardes, etc etc).

Only one guy on the forum actually came out with a rational reason why Greg Berhalter should be given the job. All the rest of you are just screaming in the wind with no plan, hating on Jurgen who forgot more soccer last night than you will ever know. Support the team and players, quit bashing Jurgen and bobby wood, enjoy the games and the process, and wait until the gold cup to spew your irrational hate.

Any coach from a top team in the World would of gotten Fired a loooong time ago if they win 1 match out of 9. Including our neighbors Mexico. Heck 1 out of 5 and the coach would be hanging by a thread. You see that's the problem with us soccer we don't put pressure on coaches so they take it easy and not worry or try harder because JK. others knows they wont get fired. Say they do pressure him and tell him if you lose the next game your out, you bet your A** he will coach his A** off and everything possible to get a good result. And when we lose we/coach throws out an Excuse. Like Fitness garbage, They had been training together for almost a month and the MLS Season just finished in November, December for others, so that Complete BS, be a man and admit your mistakes.

Did you know that I am favorable on Bob Bradley and Bruce Arena? Just curious- why do you think I dislike Jurgen so passionately, while having been favorable toward Bradley and Arena? Of MLS coachs, I like Sigi Schmid, I am so-so on Ben Olson, like Arena, I "was" so-so on Hans Backe and Mike Petke.

So please, explain to me how I came to exist having such a strong dislike for Jurgen Klinsmann. What is this irrational part of my mind that activates for Jurgen, but doesn't activate for any of those other USMNT or MLS coachs? You know- if I am just a "hater", why do I hate so little when it comes to coaches? I would love to hear your answers.

You would think we just lost every game in the WC by 5 goals the way some of you people are freaking out. We're 3 years away from the next WC and Jurgs is trying players and new stuff out. Relax. There's no one better that US Soccer could currently employ at that job than JK. If we flame out in the Gold Cup this summer then we can talk. And it's not going to be a very easy Gold Cup at all.

It's not about our results. It's about Jurgen Klinsmann and whether or not he can be considered an intelligent human being. Virtually every press conference he gives, he comes across as outrageously moronic and dishonest human being. That makes me mad every time.

Cool. That's an opinion. I don't get that from him in press conferences.

I have mentioned multiple things on this site that Jurgen has done wrong or I didn't agree with. But it seems that if you are in the anti-Jurgen camp, you are INCAPABLE of paying the man a compliment. Or mentioning anything he has done right. And it just ends up making you look like the crazy person who is irrational.

Am I frustrated with the string of recent results? Of course I am. You want your team to play well and get results. But like someone just said, let's wait until some competitive matches happen, and then we can really start criticizing Jurgen if things go south. Until then, quit your whining, and remember that you have a fraction of the knowledge he has about the sport.

A big problem is that us soccer fans have very low expectations. Their satisfied if we get out of the WC group stage and call it a sucessful WC. The gold cup is somewhat of a joke tournament we know either USA or Mexico is gonna win it. Until we start competing in FIFA tournaments and winning some we would never be taken seriously as a soccer nation.

If you're referring to this year's WC, yes, getting out of the group stage was a success. The biggest fan of US Soccer in the universe, Alexi "Batshit-Crazy" Lalas, said we wouldn't get out of the group. And we took a very good Belgium team to 120 minutes.

It's not that we have low expectations. We have realistic expectations.
