I know Jurgens decision to throw him under the bus after the CONCACAF Cup wasn't the greatest move but I think it really lit something in him. Cliché as hell but Jesus Fabian is on fire.

Maybe he needs to do that to everyone that's well established on the team.

I'd love to see a USMNT starting XI with Fabian at all 11 positions. I think we actually could fare quite well.

What is the best formation to maximize Fabian for the MNT? Gladbach is playing a 5-1-2-2 with Fabian as the LM but we don't have the type of talent that Gladbach has.

Thinking about the lovely through balls that Gladbach has played into Fabian from deep we have two guys in our pool that have that type of ability: Bradley and Trapp.

I'm leaning towards reverting to a 4-2-3-1 with a midfield /forward setup that looks like this.

--------Jozy---------
-Fabian--Nagbe--Bedoya-
-----Bradley--Trapp----

That could pretty easily shift into a 4-3-3 at times

-Fabian--Jozy--Nagbe-
--Bradley--Bedoya---
------Trapp--------

To bad gladbach just started hitting on all cylinders. They could of won their group and be a serious contender to win the champs league. Oh well at least Fabian is starting to get hot.

I am not throwing any shade because I am one of the few JK supporters on this site but amazing what a coaching change can do to a player and a team.

Usually a coaching change is bad for a player but this has worked well for FJ. Let's just hope JK is watching and seeing where FJ can succeed.

To bad JK is gonna take his mojo away and out him in a position where he won't succeed. Same with all the other players.. That's his motto.

Remember when Jurgen played him at left mid for both of the WCQ's? You do remember that, yeah? I can find proof if you need it.

You know I wouldn't be against seeing him n an advanced CM position as well. But I think JK is already looking to put Nagbe at CAM and moving Bradley to DM.

It doesn't matter. I can't wait to see Nagbe and Fabian in attack working off of eachother. I think both complement eachother.

I think a triangle with Fabian at the top and Magen and Bradley underneath is the way to play it. Either Bradley or magnet can drive forward and combine with Fabian. Would be a strong midfield three. I know I've advocated for this previously but I'd still like to see it.

Not exactly on the same level of importance but Julian Green also scored for Bayern II.
