Is there any doubt that Fabian is the best US player right now?

That's the difference between playing with top quality talent and the current talent in the USMNT pool. Seems like FJ gets a lot more chances and is a lot more involved with Glad'bach.

I imagine it is frustrating for a player like him who wants to be involved but because we cannot keep possession and play in the final third he is not as useful as can be. I think he is better than we have seen in a USMNT shirt, once we can get some players to unlock his talent this guy can be the best LB/LM in CONCACAF.

Whenever I see a player specific thread bumped like this I know that the player did something impressive, is rumored to be on the move or got injured. Glad to see that it's the first scenario.

Put him ahead of Bradley alongside Nagbe in the 4-3-3 coach K... our best player.

Yeah, I do feel sorry for FJ sometimes w/ USMNT. You know it's gotta be painful for him to play with some of those guys who can't kick a damn ball. That's always difficult, particularly in a sport like soccer where you really need your teammates.

I really believe that we are moving towards either a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1. It will really depend on which of the younger players develops quickest and steps up their game.
I'd love to see something along the following if we lock up advancement in March....

-----------------Agudelo-------------
--Fabian-------Nagbe---------Finlay-----
--------Williams-------Bradley-----------
--Shea----Brooks-------Alvarado----Yedlin--
---------------Guzan-----------------
Speed kills, and this would be an extremely fast team that has good technical ability.

not to mention a coach who play Johnson as a full back to defend.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
