Where else would you guys wanna see Fabian good to? Lets be honest a player of his caliber will have more teams lined up later, ESPECIALLY since he will be free.

For which position? LM or LB?
He could def work in the EPL for teams like Sunderland now that they are playing better or Stoke because they have players in LM on Loan (assaidi and Borini Liverpool). Or another mid team in EPL.

Having our attacking player play for the same club is always a plus to the national team.

He'd be great at Monchengladbach. He's been rumored there.

Hertha are also looking at him.

That will be a great move by him. I really hope he stays at LB. I find it extremely difficult that Beasley will be the lb in tye world cup. It has to be Fabian no doubt, he is stronger and more physicql and ays better defense and has very good speed, all Beasley has is speed. Were gonna get killee in the flanks with Beasley there. We got plenty of players thT are capable of playing wing. Donovan, deuce, bedoya, agudelo, Zusi,EJ,, Chandler, shea, even Beasley at wing would be better since thats his natural position.

Fabian should take a very short sighted approach. In all likelihood this is could be his only world cup as one of our better players. In 4 years his only chance is probably as an LB and it will likely be as a backup (similar to what Beasley should be this world cup). People shouldnt think of whats best for him to stay in the US picture next cycle because he'll be a surefire starter for us in 2015 and 2016 regardless, and we dont really have any meaningful games in that time frame just gold cup which we dont have to win and 1st group round of WCQ which we can win with just MLS guys. He should be aiming for a UCL team even if its just to be there 1st backup

The last time Fabian Johnson made a move up (1860 to Wolfsburg) it was a disaster. This was coming on the heels of when he was also a starter for Germany's exceptional U21 European Championship winning team in 2009.

He made the move to Wolfsburg and made 16 appearances over 2 seasons. It wasn't until he got to Hoffenheim in 2011 when he began to earn minutes again.

Johnson is a good player but there is no doubt he's had an odd career with sharp peaks and valleys

He's another player like Agudelo and Shea that just seems to pick up knocks quite often. Usually nothing major but being taken out of your rythym for two weeks every couple of months definitely has to mess with you. Hopefully he can shake the injury bug going forward and can start being more consistent

Fabian Johnson starts at RB for the second straight week. Most people don't know that he is right footed. If he continues to play RB he may be in consideration for that position for the USMNT. That's if Klinsmann views Cameron as more of a CB.

Super logical thinking here 2tone. But 0% chance he plays RB in Brazil.
