So sadly Jordan didn't get enough of a run out to really prove anything in Europe. Personally I think it was a good team for him to showcase his skills. Manager was just starting to trust him and he was about to get some starts. If it's his other ACL as I suspect then he will most likely not get another shot. I am sure we will hear something Monday or Tuesday.

Yeah he's really unlucky. Seemed like a new step for him and this happens. Let's hope for a good diagnosis

Sucks for Morris but the problem is with the size of soccer players. Littler dudes in a physical game seem to get injured a lot more than bigger dudes in the NBA (running back n forth sport)....

Morris isn't a little dude. NBA players don't have guys around their knees and ankles the whole game. The surface of an NBA court is also much more secure than even the best soccer field.

I'm a bulls fan. Derrick rose comes to mind. Surely those years on turf haven't helped Morris knees. I know I blew my knee out on the 3G surface - I get the pros play on better but still. MLS has to outlaw turf. (I know this happened in England that's not the point). Pulisic and Weah are both on the brink of being injury prone too.

Morris is a little dude. I mean not to talk shit but if you're running around full speed weighing 160 lbs you're more prone to get injured..
Never thought about the turf thing. Makes sense too !

Coach of Swans had this to say today.
"He's had a bad injury unfortunately for him. It's significant ligament damage, ACL. Everything we hoped it wasn't, unfortunately it is.
So that's a Wrap on Morris in Europe and for most of MLS season. Typical ACL's take at least 6 months to heal. Probably won't see him for WCQ either.

"Jordan has our support, we don't know if his recovery will be here or back in America - those conversations are ongoing - but, first and foremost, we are gutted for him," Cooper said. "He was pushing to get into the team after a spell of getting fit, so it is really unfortunate in many ways.
"One thing I will say about Jordan is he is an excellent professional. He is a really good person, and really commits to his profession."
Coach also said this, kind words that he didn't have to say. I guess he was going to start the next league game according to fans. Well at least he put himself out there to push himself in Europe, Maybe next year if he recovers well.

Jordan Morris is listed at 5'11" 185lbs, Chris Paul is 6'0" 175 lbs. Morris did not get injured because he is a "little dude".

Until we get real grass on all the fields it's debatable how great of a league MLS is. I still don't understand how grass can't grow in New England or Seattle but it can in Chicago. Washington state may be the greenest place in the whole country.

Seattle had a deal in place with the Seahawks to use their stadium until 2022 I think. After that they have to get a Soccer Specific Stadium like everyone else. New England already has plans in the works.

This is absolutely not accurate unless you count the annual "plans in the works" leaked from Kraft around season ticket renewal time that amount to nothing more than marketing gig.
