Not sure if you guys have read the article or not but I'm over here so it's relevant to this part of the world, but Dooley is leading the Phillipines as their coach against Thailand this evening (morning for you stateside folks) in the Suzuki Cup. I'll be pulling for Thailand since I live here for now, but should Dooley pull something off with the Phillipines it would be a nice alternative. From what I understand he's done good things with the team.

Yeah Philippines have done well with Dooley he has deffiently implemented some discipline with the team. A couple of key players for Philippines Stephen Shrock most notably decided not to continue with the team. Thailand ended up winning this match 3-0 thailand is a better team then Philippines and will probably face vietnam in the final 2 legs.

Thailand's number 7, don't even want to bother spelling his name, is a real threat in the final third as well, very elusive, and I'm very surprised he is only playing in the Thai domestic league. Phillippines hardly looked threatening at all. Thailand kept them pressured all game. Although they look better than they used to the team still has a long way to go.

It's also worth noting that the Thais build up their attack very well, but crumble when it comes to finishing. The game could have very easily been 5-0 even without the sending off.
