Akale will be a 2017 U-20 player. With Flores Jr., Sonora, Gall all able to play the #10 position, and all of them playing well for their respective clubs/club academies, Akale isn't really needed in this cycle.

Agree. We are only seeing 97's on this roster for the CB position (Carter-Vickers, Redding, EPB). The u20s are weakest there so that's why.

Akale will be a big player for the next u20 cycle. He and Pulisic will share the #10 position in the next cycle.

That's too bad! I really like Akale, and I think he is better #10 than all those players, plus he plays in Spain so he'd be right there!

Good lord, Pulisic and Akale in the midfield together would be scary good!

Not to mention Tommy Thompson can play the #10 and Arriola can play the #10 as well as Lynden Gooch and Zack Pfeffer.

Akale is good, but it's hard to say he is better than any of the current players. Also Junior Flores has been on a Assist/Goal scoring tear for Dortmunds U-19 team.

Also Akale isn't with Villarreal's academy until he turns 18. Right now he is in a bit of limbo until he turns 18.

Hyndman is the last person I would expect to get sent off with 2 yellows.

Excellent result in this game. They had to dig deep, playing older team and going down to 10 men. Would like to see who played what position in attack anyways..

Horvath; Moore, Carter-Vickers, Miazga, Martir; Canouse, Sonora; Hyndman, Gall, Flores; Novakovic

Im thinking it was something like this:

-Horvath-
-Martir-Vickers-Miazga-Shaq
-----Russell---
--Sonora--Hyndman--
--Gall----Flores
----Nova----

Attack as a spear head. Makes sense, I'm sure once the game started people pushed wide...

I think Martir was at LB and shaq at RB and the lineup was announced as a 4-3-3.

Anyways 3 goals is a bit much i think the defense changes for next game.
