Anyone remember that LD scored a goal last year on Pulisic's bday? And today Pulisic scored and who's bday is it?

Got to play centrally and be a little more direct in his play today. Good to see him get minutes there and be so effective.

In the fun lineups section, makes me think

Wood
Nagbe. Cp10. Fj
Bradley. Hyndman
Villa. Brooks. Cameron. Yedlin

I think he is a beast when deployed centrally. He created two more beautiful passes to Auba, Auba was a tad to early and offside.

This. Giving Bruce something to think about. Also opens up a spot for Nagbe on the wing.

It was Juergen's time to get the axe but he took a lot of shit for playing Pulisic centrally against Mexico and it now doesn't appear to have been a bad idea. He clearly saw the potential even if it didn't work out in that particular game.

You could tell that Pulisic aspect of the plan vs Mexico worked well...it was unfamiliarity in each other and the system for Besler, Gonzo, and Brooks as well as an apparent unwillingness of MB90 and JJ to play that system caused the failure.

JK did not want our most dynamic player to get pinned back having to play defense...which will happen quite a bit if we keep him on the wings.

I dare say Arena will play a stale 4-4-2 with Pulisic as a withdrawn forward and Wood on the bench.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
