NY handled DC. Frustrating game that puts United in a tough spot to get a result in the home leg. One positive is that Bill Hamid once again showed why he should be the MNT #2 Keeper.

Haven't played that poorly in months. Really hoping they can field close to a full strength XI in DC next Saturday. If NYRB maintain form thats the only way I see us having a chance to get back into the series.

Glad to see Alexi and Taylor talking about low attendance. Granted they were singling out Columbus specifically, but I've just been shocked to see stadiums not full.

Fc Dallas game was packed today. Also NY had a very nice crowd.

Bad timing for columbus it was the day of an ohio state football game. Might have lost a decent amount of fans who picked to go to an ohio state game. Trust me especially in a city like columbus college football reigns supreme lessens chances of a good crowd significantly decreases for other sports. Not sure what influenced other stadiums not being full.

It's not about having "nice crowds." These are playoff games. In stadiums that should absolutely be filled. I just don't understand how these places aren't sold out...

just bad luck with the Buckeyes playing. Also, it was cold as shit with high winds here in chicago on Friday night, it couldn't have been much nicer the next day in Columbus. Again, the "European" calendar will not work, unless we play for 3-4 months in Florida and Arizona like baseball spring training.

I think DCU has little chance. If NY scores one goal DC is toast. The way the Revs looked saturday Id be surprised if they didnt make the final.

Those NYRB v NER games could be pretty good.

For real NYRB getting hot at the right time and NER playing lights out offensively at the moment. I could see a lot of goals getting scored between the two. Western Confrence finals I think will be a grudge match since all four teams left have very good defenses no offense to NE or NYRB.

The two draws in the West have set up good return legs. A goal by DC early could change things, but I can't see Columbus getting back into it. New England is scary right now on the counter.

Yeah, I am not thrilled with RSL's opportunity to play 1-1 or 2-2 and walk with the series. Nightmare. From what I've seen, a week ago, most people had the Galaxy with the edge over RSL and SS, then winning it all. But I don't know if I'm so optimistic about any of that.

(But don't pull my card, sukkas, I've been a Galaxy fan since '96 - first game in person. Anyone who had to grin-and-bear-it through hockey-style shootouts has earned the right to say what they want)

I was a kid when my father took me to the first galaxy game. Can't believe 96 was a long time ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Hope LA wins Sunday and set up a possible western finals vs seattle.

Well there it is. DC has just about packed that stadium for national NBC channel display. Good show.
