New York makes everything else in the USA seem small. And I'm from a city of almost 3 mil, with about 9mil people in the area. Manhattan itself you can't see the horizon, only buildings.

That's the point of the SSS, to create an atmosphere. Of course they could be done wrongly, like Toyota Park, where 20K of fans equalled 20K of fans at soldier field, even though there was room for 60K.

Ohh boy BWP you Just won yourself the MLS MVP!!!!!!

Most leagues close voting before postseasons begin. I cant guarentee that MLS does things this way because they do a lot of unusual things but its a standard amongst US sports, even college athletics

Oh god, so glad to hear MLS is joining the rest of the footballing world and implementing away goals this year. About damn time.

There was a study about away goals in Europe. He or she found that the away goal rule actually makes more teams defensive not more attacking. There has been a discussion in many circles in Europe that the away goal rule should be done away with.

I could care less either way.

Thought the game came alive in the second half. Hopefully Red Bull stadium will be closer to full on Sunday. But with that being said it's not easy for New Yorkers to get to Harrison, New jersey. The Red Bulls need to start marketing themselves to New jersey and south East Pennsylvania more. Don't exclude fans from New York, but maybe start marketing yourself as more of a New Jersey team.

its a rivalry game so it should be more filled up. Not to mention its on the weekend and DC will already have a good amount of away supporting travelers.

I think all Season ticket Holders should not pay for playoff games, Unless they make the Finals then that's separate. It should be on their package or at least get that Bonus for being a loyal fan all year. And even then they should be able to buy a second ticket for Half price off that way they take a buddy or someone else to the game and you bet they will be close to sell outs or even sold out. And child's under 2 should be admitted free and between 3-13 they should get like a 25% a Discount on tickets.

I was looking at why Settle plays on Monday Night and just saw that Seahawks play on Sunday. That's to bad i guess would of been cool to have a triple header next Sunday. I hope they don't play with those annoying Football lines.

I don't think this will work well in the business world. The team is in the play off because most likely, owners are willing to pay for good players, so the extra money from play-offs would help offsetting the cost of the salary
We'll win it all, some day

FYI, at least on Comcast the Crew vs Revs game can be seen for free on one of the NBA League Pass channels due to the free trial at the start of the NBA season. It looks like the MLS League Pass must have shared the channels with the NBA. Not bad.

Tyson Wahl is a terrible defender! Two Rev goals directly a result of him just sitting off attackers while they waltz straight on goal. Really missing Gonzalez!

Yea Steve Clark didn't cover himself in glory either with 3 of the 4 goals he could've done better. I don't think that last minute pk will be enough to make New England sweat too hard in the return leg.

I called NE in the Final. They are the most complete team right now, they can beat either DC or NY.

what a game lol. Extremely tough for Crew to score 3-0 to come back. NE Revs mean business. It's like they turned on a switch to play a next level
