Is not just MLS. MLB, NBA, NHL don't show some of their playoff games on major tv networks all the time.

MLB playoff games are always on major networks. I don't know anything about the NBA, but I do know you're right about the NHL. However, when your playoffs consist of a bunch of 5 and 7 game series, not showing one game isn't quite such a big deal.

East 4/5: NY
West 4/5: Dallas

East Semis: DC vs NY, NE vs Columbus
West Semis: Seattle vs Dallas, LA vs RSL

Conference Champs: DC vs NE, Seattle vs LA

MLS Cup: DC vs LA

MLB network is definitely much more of a major network than the MLS network. Which doesn't exist.

Regardless, not showing 1-2/7 game series on a major network is not a huge issue. Not showing 1/1, or 1/2 games in an MLS playoff series is bad for the public perception of the league. None of the MLB one-and-done wildcard games was shown exclusively on the MLB network. It chases away the casual fan, right at the time of the year when casual fans can become lifelong fans.

It's more of a major TV network than whatever non-existent channel tomorrow night's game is on.

Also, this year's MLB playoffs will consist of at least 30 games. Last year's NBA playoffs consisted of 94 total games. Last year's NHL playoffs consisted of 93 games.

The MLS playoffs have a mind-blowing, earth-shattering total of 15 games. Surely you can find a way to get FIFTEEN FUCKING GAMES on a major TV network.

Good to see Walker Zimmerman back healthy and in the starting 11 at RCB for Dallas tonight against Vancouver.

I still think if he can stay healthy that he will be a major player for the US U-23 team at CB. Kid is good. Could be a CB dark horse for the 2018 USMNT WC team as well.

It may be a harsh PK call but it's a PK nonetheless. Wastons arm extends from his body which deflects the ball away from potentially falling to a Dallas player. If Waston doesn't make that move and keeps his arm close to his body that wouldn't have been called.

I have seen those called in every league and in big games too.

Because not enough people came to fill it up.

I wonder the same for epl why almost half the teams don't sell out their games. Why are the Cup games so damm empty. Why isn't even in the top 2 in attendance in soccer in Europe yet they call themselves the best and don't have the fans to back it up.

Season ticket packages don't include cup games or playoff tickets FYI. When you get old enough you will make monetary decisions too.

Sunderland actually has good crowds surprisingly.

That was a PK last night looking back at the highlights.
