Not sure if Tesho wins rookie of the year. But he has a solid case I am sure Blaise will deffiently support Tesho after seeing this.

If this doesn't get Hedges a January call-up, I don't know what will.

Benito Floro is convinced that Akindele is going to choose Canada over the US.

Honestly, that's the best decision for him assuming that he feels strongly about both countries. He's a talented young player that had potential with the US but realistically it would be a stretch for him to be a US mainstay.

Instead he can have a long and nice international career above the border and hopefully help them finally make it to the hex.

Hate to lose prospects but glad Floro reached out. Love to see him at the Gold Cup

He would be a great forward for Canada, for anyone really, but with the depth the US is producing in the attack, I don't see anyone getting Jozy-like dominance over any forward position going least until the next Jozy comes along and stands head-and-shoulders above his peers and contemporaries.

An update from Tesho himself:

"Yeah, I don't know right now. I've been in contact with them (the Canadian federation) lately. That's it," Akindele said after training on Wednesday.

He's pretty much like JAB and Chandler for us. He probably would prefer to play for USA, but hes not guarenteed to get callups or opportunities to get gold cup appearances. Chandler and JAB, and Green to an extent, all pretty obviously would have preferred to play for Germany but thought the path to playing time was too difficult to overcome there. Akindele seems to be in a similar situation.

Good luck to him whichever he chooses. I kind of hope he picks Canada and helps them improve. More games against Canada means less games in Central America. I want them to break into that Panama, CR, Honduras group of teams

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
