I don't know much about him but he's a 20 year old substitute for Gent in the Belgian league. Hes an attacking mid who just scored his first Belgian goal. Had 9 goals in Isralei league last year. He's repped the Israeli youth teams from U16 through U21 but never their senior team. He was born in florida so he is an american citizen. Never hurts to have depth and maybe he gets a look in 2015 during some euro camps or the next u23 camp. Id think if he progresses to be a starter for a team like Gent as a 21-22 year old he'd be in the picture for the U23's. His birthday isnt until december so he should qualify for the olympics unless my math is off.

He seems to have some talent to him. He has stated that he would be honored to receive a call-up, but he would have to file a one-time switch to play for the US. He is very much one of if not the most talented player for Israel right now.

He is left footed, quick, and a goal scorer. I could see him at LW or underneath the striker for the US.

We will find out exactly how serious he is about repping the US because Israel will probably try to cap tie him during Euro qualifiers soon. If he turns that opportunity down, then I would say Jurgen has been in contact with him.

Nice article. I saw his goal from the Belgian action recap on this page and went looking about stuff on him. Definitely seems to have some skill.

Saief scored his third goal of the season for Gent today. Playing LW.

I wonder if Klinsmann has contacted him?

No he hasn't. Most likely he stays with Israel.

I'd like to see him get a look at the NATS.

I would as well, we always need depth at the wings and forward.

I would like to see Saief and Fafa Picault get looks for the NT. They are both players at decent clubs in Europe that could give us better wing options.

Rumor: Interesting news for United States National Team supporters. According to a Sport5 report, Gent MF Kenny Saief will be called up to USA NT.

???? For what match? Next qualifiers aren't until Feb or March right? Are you saying he will be in January camp?

Report by Sport5: Kenny Saief has not gotten an official invitation from the US NT, but he has been told to expect one soon.
