Yeh technical football is increasing in the EPL because of the massive influx of continental Europe and south American players into the league.

Not really. The homegrown rule has steadied that number so it really isn't any different than it was the last five years. Now, the numbers of minutes played by foreign players have gone up, meaning that the talent coming in is top talent. Still I don't equate it to the players moreso the footballing philosophy in England changing slowly over the past decade. It has quickened over the last 3/4 years because of some of the coaches coming in have that mentality and what to play football a certain way and its dwindling down to the youth coaches. Most of the U21 sides play attacking possession-oriented football, and there are plenty of British players that fit into these systems now.

??? England was better and more technichal before. Their football is going down would not be surprised if they don't qualify for the 2018 WC.

Clearly someone doesn't watch the EPL closely.
