He needs to hit the gym very badly. Natural age induced growth won't cut it. He needs to add a lot of muscle to those legs and elsewhere.

Hamburg fired their coach. Its always a risk for a player when a new manager gets brought in. Hopefully Green isnt pigeon holed as one of the outgoing coaches guys (See Sunderland and how Poyet cleaned house and stopped playing most of Di Canio's guys.

Both chandler and fab went the full 90 for their clubs. Julian got a 20 min appearance off the bench as hamburg drew bayern 0-0( coach bringing in green in a 0-0 game against best team in the world shows some trust). Grau makes bench as Dortmund is shut out 2-0 to Mainz. Could be a panic move coming from Dortmund soon.

Plus Mkhitaryan is out for a month with a foot injury. Gyau might be making the 18 at a crucial time

Im really starting to admire Gyau and his ability and strong mentality to go to BVB and want to earn his spot in a top team. He easily can be a quality option for a mid or lower Bunderliga team. Just pushes the bar for American players more.
I understand the money aspect and contract you cant turn down like for example Bradley and even Deuce but it was still frustrating as national team fan to see them back in MLS especially Bradley. (Would be playing CL for Roma imo). But i guess it helps the league as well.
JK hopefully reward Gyau with another call up

Maruoka made his debut I really thought it was gonna be gyau but it was Japan week so oh well. He show a bit of flashes and is only 18 but I really think when gyau gets his shot he will take advantage of it. Specially if dortmund keeps having bad results he will definetly play maybe even get a start pretty soon. Like I said before, injuries happen as well as suspensions.

I cant believe Im saying this but this is a great point. Dortmund needs results so you'd think with their fringe guys theyd be quick to move them up or down the depth chart quickly if things dont work out well. By that same token they are so skilled that eventually they'll likely go on a long run of unbeaten games, where they wont change things up. If Gyau gets lucky maybe he rides that wave to key reserve for the whole season

I'm glad to see us finally getting along, put me down as one on this gravy train. I too see the potential for big strides in our youth at Borussia Dortmund. But just because the opportunity opens itself up, it doesn't mean that they will be definitely be successful. So here's hoping they catch a great run of form, and by they I mean everyone down to Pulisic. While in Flores and Chris's situation might be a little premature, and they might be looking to mitigate a depleted lineup in the transfer season, finding available personnel for practices requires some shuffling down to the reserve sides. So that means that Academy products might be called into Reserve training sessions. I will be hoping, hard.

Timmy Chandler looking really good at RB today for Frankfurt. Has an assist, and is rampaging up and down the right flank. Yedlin V Chandelr at RB for the USMNT during this WC cycle is going to be a fun battle to watch. That is if Klinsmann uses Chandler as a RB instead of LB. For me Fabian Johnson is no longer a RB for the USMNT.

Its getting easy to envision a scenario where Chandler, Fab, Green, and Gyau are all in the starting XI

If we are talking playing FJ at wing, Green's injury and form plus the need for Yedlin to get caps to qualify for a work permit come January may mean we do not see Green for this call up.

Completely agree. I was thinking more big picture. Like 2015 or Copa in 2016.
