Not the strongest u18 squad we could have, missing Scott, Obinwa, Pineda, Lennon, Redding..prob all had club commits.. But still a really good looking team.

I know klinsmann isn't better than JT that's for sure, I know he was in Stuttgart with VFB Stuttgart training so he was already in Europe. Might of been easy to call him. Herrera might be busy as well so couldn't make it.

Brooks Lennon debuted for Liverpool U-21's today. So there is the answer as to why Lennon wasn't called up. Also I am hearing that the Liverpool coaching staff are raving about him.

I'm looking forward to a future US CB pairing of Carter-Vickers and Palmer-Brown, simply for the names!

Yeah I saw Lennon debuted for the u21s, good to see he is finally at Liverpool. Wonder what kind of arrangement he has there with no EU passport. Passport prob in process..

Also the current 97s&98s which will be eligible for the next u20 2017 WC cycle has the most talented deepest CB prospects I think ever. With EPB, Redding, Glad, Clarke, Pineda, Barbir, & now Carter-Vickers.

There was a tweet from USAProspects about Lennon's debut. "This kid is going to be a star." May not have been those EXACT words, but "going to be a star" was in there. Looks like I need to figure out Liverpool's U-21 schedule.

Where's our resident Liverpool brother to shed some light on Lennon? I love hearing his perspective. Come on and fill us in. Does he look the real deal? Higher ceiling than Pelosi?

It's like having 6 on the backline with only 4 dudes! Unless of course Orozco-Fiscal makes a triumphant return.
