Not sure - very well could be. MLS has so many weird designations: "discovery" and "designated" and "international" - each one has their limits as to how many are on a team. Given that Pappa has been with the Fire a while now, it wouldn't necessarily surprise me if he wasn't a DP.

I always thought seattle should of looked into capturing Boca. They lack a stronger more consistent defense to pair with their potent offense.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when Dempsey doesnt get sold. Fulham have bought 34724702 strikers and/or attacking mids. He's screwed

Pappa was not a DP. Recent signings Alvaro Fernandez and Sherjill MacDonald are the Fire's only DPs.

with some of the players they unloaded, I was wondering if Spurs would jump in for Deuce.

My favorite of the day has to be Gooch to Malaga. I hope he stays for a while - a year loan atm, but they have the option to buy. It's a club on the rise and I like that. And, hopefully, he'll be playing UCL ball.

I think Malaga will come to regret bringing in Gooch.

I don't see any US players making any big moves....ones to look for the expiring contracts of Mix, O'Brien, and Bedoya.....Steve Clark could be, maybe Gatt. I do think Fabian Johnson has played extremely well to make a move to a bigger club. I would like to see Mix move to a Championship team, Bolton would be nice after losing Muamba be cool to see Mix and Holden double up.

A few thoughts just off the top of my head

There are going to be some interesting names in MLS who may make a move.

Augdelo has 1 year left on his contract. If he wants to make a move, CUSA will have to sell him in either January or the summer. Otherwise they'll get nothing. Staying with CUSA is not something he probably wants to do.

I am a bit undecided on Omar Gonzalez but if he has a good MLS Cup final, I can see him making the move. If he proves he's returned from his injury, he's done everything he can do in MLS.

In England, Lichaj is in the last year of his contract and Villa is a sinking ship. Maybe Villa keeps him knowing they could lose him on a free. It may just be all hands on deck.

Jose Torres could move but I think to a better Mexican club. Also in Mexico, I think Jonathan Bornstein could be on the move as well as some other youth players throughout the league.

I do see Steve Clark making a move. Honefoss sucks and he single handedly carrried to the team on his back to avoid the drop. Why do that again? At worst he goes to a top team in Norway. He was just named GK of the year in the Tippeligaen.

I see Conor O'Brien and Alejandro Bedoya moving. Mix may stay with Rosenborg.

One name to watch is Michael Parkhurst. I think he's done at Nordsjaelland. He's had his chance to play in the Champions League and has won the Danish title. He's one of the best defenders in the league. He will have a chance at a bigger club.

In England, I think you could see a loan to a lower level team for Sebastian Lletget. I also am certain Villyan Bijev has to go out on loan again. Work restrictions won't let him stay with Liverpool in 2013.

Of course, a few kids will try to make the direct move out of college to Europe. Usually that means going to Norway, Denmark, or Sweden.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
