There are very very few CMs that can hold up physically at the highest levels at 18. There are some but those are the ones that are just gifted physically. That's an area that players tend to grow as they get older. We'll see what he looks like in two years.

Academy coach Mark Lillis is the caretaker manager at Huddersfield. They play tomorrow in the Capital One Cup, so we'll see if Holmes is in the side. Probably one of those things we'll never know the full story on, but it couldn't have been just about results why the manager was allowed to start the season but then not supported to continue after 1 match. Boards don't normally call the manager in for a meeting after one admittedly dreadful performance.

Duane Holmes not in the 18 again for Huddersfield's League Cup game.

Birmingham City have fired their manager Lee Clark. You would think the new manger who comes in will change things around. More playing time for Shea and Packwood?

Lee Clark was the only reason Shea was brought to BCFC. This is a rough situtation getting worse.

IDK, Shea has shown pretty well in the few games he's played for the Blues...Admittedly, this isn't doing him any favors, but it may not be the disaster that you're making it out to be.

Hopefully, it's not the same situation as when Pulis got the sack and Hughes took over at Stoke.

He hasn't made an 18 in almost a month.

Not looking good for Birmingham. Still without a manager, humiliated 8-0 AT HOME today by Bournemouth. Though to be fair, Bournemouth are in a promotion spot.

City now second bottom, having surrendered the most goals in the league. Clearly things aren't working on that back line, so why not put Packwood out there and see how things go?

See now Dunlopp you're using logic. Lets not have this happen again.
