Yeah I think it's more that Peps Ego took a hit tonight than anything.

By the way the Bayern players were still classy. The coaching staff were telling them to not exchange jersey's at the end, and the players ignored them and still exchanged jersey's with the All-Stars. Good on the Bayern players. Coaching staff a disgrace.

When the MLS can win the CONCACAF Champions League, wake me up. This was an exhibition.

Also, I wanted to punch Lalas in the face when at halftime, he said "if you don't support your domestic league, you are not an American soccer fan." SHUT THE HELL UP. There is not ONE way to be an American soccer fan, sorry to tell you, Lexi. Someone is more than allowed to be a die-hard supporter of the USMNT but not care about MLS. That's their decision.

I really wish he would go away. Truly one of the most obnoxious tv sports personalities I've ever come across.

Everyone has their opinions on what it is to be an American soccer fan.

I think he was directing those comments at people who really don't give good reasons as to why they don't support the domestic league.

I like Alexi. He isn't shy to be controversial. Those are the type of personalities that I like. Sometimes there are too many robots in sports.

I don't mind those personalities either. What's always bothered me about Lexi is that when he talks, he thinks he knows more about the sport than anyone else. He is one of the most condescending sports analysts I've ever seen. I'd be hard pressed to find someone who would disagree with that statement, at least.

Never understood why people hate Lalas. The guy talks his opinion whether he is wrong or not and whether people hate it or not. I support MLS but if you dont support the domestic league it doesnt make you a non american supporter. IMO if you support the USMNT then you are an american soccer fan. Why? because the patriotism is there and it was nice to see that during the world cup even if people dont see MLS or heck even see all the USMNT games lol.

Gulati says everything is all good between Pep and Caleb Porter. They shook hands afterwards. Still from an awesome coach like Pep must've been hurtful to Porter from something he had no control over. No one wanted to get hurt. Two hard tackles. Two. Glad everything's settled.

I'm calling it: When Pep takes over the USMNT job after the 2018 WC, Lalas will be the first one to bring up tonight's handshake issue.

Pep said in the press conference afterward that he wanted "revenge," and hoped that they'd be invited back for another shot at the All-Stars. Both teams should bring extra shinguards for that one, if it happens.

Pep is such a prick! I don't know what game he was watching that he believes it was some type of boxing match out there. This dudes ego got hurt bad tonight!

My guess is that the Bayern brass stepped in, and didn't exactly force Pep to shake hands, but made it clear that Pep was in the wrong.

That should tell you right there that these European teams take this All-Star game seriously.

Kasey Keller needs to check himself when he said it was a meaningless game. Looks like Pep didn't think that way. Huge Keller fan, but he was pandering to Bayern with his comments after the game was over.

Looks like MLS is definitely making strides in the world. When arguably the best coach and team in the world are already thinking about having a revenge game in the future; I think it's safe to say MLS is arriving.

Ohhh here we go the biggest mls hater ever. Even when an mls wins the ccl you will say oh who cares until a team wins club wc. Then if they do you will say who cares until usa wins a wc with 23 mls players. Dunlopp STFU and appreciate for once don't hate.
