Will be interesting to see if BVB sells Dembele to Barca (request reportedly over 100m Euros!). I would hate to let him go for the club's sake, but it certainly would elevate Pulisic's importance to them.

Previous rumors said if Liverpool lost coutinho then they may go hard after pulisic. With coutinho seeming to be on his way to barca to replace Neymar it will be interesting to see if any rumors or bids come to light this week.

Highly doubtful. Barcelona are finalizing a deal for Dembele. Dortmund aren't selling Pulisic.

Anyone worried that Dembele's spontaneity in the middle allowed Pulisic freedom to take 1 or 2 dudes at the same time?

At the very least, if BVB deploys him centrally, he'll start to be forced to develop central no. 10 tendencies.

Thats a role he's filling for USNT with worse players (Jozy, Bradley, Wood, Nagbe) then he has at Dortmund even if Dembele leaves. If anything thais should be preferred as it should help him grow into that role faster and be more lethal for USNT as opposed to flipping back and forth from winger to CAM

Well, you look at the cup half full and say he's got better players even when Dembele leaves, I say that he faces much better competition too.

He's at the moment at winger for BVB. If he goes and becomes a "CAM" for them then it's going to be pretty cool. If he doesn't change playing style and stays the way he is, in the middle, he has to be considered a SS or a second forward. Which would be interesting because we're back to where Landon was a almost a decade ago.

Bosz is a straight 4-3-3 type of guy. I don't think there will be much opportunity for Pulisic to play centrally because of the lack of manpower on the wings with Reus out and the selling of Emre Mor (or was that a loan...I can't remember). Anyway, that lack of man power on the wings becomes even more desperate if they sell Dembele whereas they have Castro, Kagawa, and maybe even Gotze as a 10 at this point.

The good news is that Bosz seems to be keen on having his wingers more inverted and allowing them freedom to get inside.

Schurrle out as well. Math could change if he comes back soon, but it's still crowded at CAM and less crowded at LW or RW for BVB.

And....you're going to get to see some Pulisic without Dembele this weekend. Dortmund have suspended him for missing today's training. That may be a moot point as Barca is circling.

I know players want to play for the dream clubs like Barca, Man Utd, Real Madrid and now PSG & Man City but are they always greener pastures? I know it is about the big payday but the chances of you flopping or competing for a spot are higher.

That said, I am glad Pulisic stayed at Dortmund, which is a great club in its own instead of jumping ship for Liverpool in a league that can be very difficult for a young player. If anyone can make it in the Prem, Puli can but that is easier said than done. The money will be there, Puli did himself a favor by staying with a club he is comfortable at and is constantly making it hard for the manager not to start him and play him 90.

Puli is at BVB because noone's put a formal offer, if Liverpool puts up 40 million for Pulisic you don't think he should go?

If Dortmund rejected 120 Million for Dembele im sure they will reject 40 million for pulisic the talent gap between them isnt that massive. At least 50 for pulisic he is young with a bright future and is very marketable.
