Yeah I saw that, know if it was their A team? Both goals were scored by the same player impressive.

Funny because I remember watching Pulisic play them on the id2 trip he was on a few years back. Best player then too.

Yea I'm not sure if is the A team the notable players are Hilton. And ulysses llanez the kid who scored both goals. Llanez lives a couple minutes from me I might go watch him play in pick up games or even when he is in HS they call him lil neymar. I seen Hilton play he reminds me of Marcelo and Alvez he has loads of talent. Amazing how chivas USA had such a great academy.

He should have his own section...All things Pulisic....LD's doppelganger.

I still want him to play up at the U20 WC...that would be an enlightened badass move. It would be a nice stepping stone to making the roster for the 2018 WC. He would be just short of 20 years old...LD was just past 20 at the 2002 WC...not a stretch at all. It is still a long ways off, but it seems ridiculous to me that he wouldn't be on the 2018 WC team.

Do you think this takes him out of the U17 qualifying that starts in two weeks? I'd hope not as that'd be a big loss.

Jurgen Klopp praising Pulisic. Stating that he was impressed with Pulisic's ability in tight spaces and that he passed the ball around well.

Klopp saying that Dortmund's first team was lacking players at Pulisic's position for training and that's why he was called in to train.

Kid may be a lot closer to that Dortmund first team then previously thought.

I honestly think pulisic can play and make an impact with dortmunds first team this year if given the chance. At age 16 he is probably already better than some of their first team players today.

Haha..wow..

Guess anyone can dream.

No way Pulisic even makes the bench until he is 18.

Klopp also stated that he is going to bring along Pulisic at a steady rate. Meaning Pulisic probably won't see first team minutes for another few years.

There will be a U-20 WC in 2017 that Pulisic would be primed to participate in. Both LD & DMB played in the U-20 WC the year before the 2002 WC. There is no reason to rush Pulisic into this years U-20.

Yeah, those guys like Reus, Kampl, Kagawa, Mkhitaryan, Immobile and Aubameyang are all push-overs. No-talent hacks are what they are.

You have Freddy Adu-syndrome. I've seen you say it about so many young guys, that they should be playing first team football or that they're going to score x amount of goals in a season. Pulisic shouldn't come CLOSE to seeing the first team bench, this year or probably the next. Kid is 16.

I'm guessing he's mentally very strong, mature and focused. The only concerns for a player going up a level between U17 and U20 would be if they were immature, or physically weak which isn't the case with Pulisic...I also think his combination of pace, soccer IQ and finishing ability put him in the top third of the U20 players. I think he would be great as a flank attacker/creator at Rmid. If we can get Rubin up top and potentially Pulisic on the flank cutting in we might have something to get real excited about. If he can handle the challenge, why not. I think he could have a positive impact with the U20s...It's not like he's jumping to the full side...he's playing with other teenagers. If Klopp says he's holding his own against men...I don't see why he can't play against 18-19 year olds at a tourney. Let him play two U20 WCs. I'm just not excited about him playing U17 ball at this point...but hey, that's just me...fast track the guys that are strong enough to handle it.

Has anyone ever (or at least for us) played in a U20 world cup first, then a U17 world cup? That would be pretty funny.

Pretty sure Freddy Adu went to a U20 WC when he was 14, but you see how he turned out...

Adu went to three U-20 World Cups for the US. 2003, 2005, and 2007. He was 14 in 2003, 16 in 2005, and 18 in 2007.
