LA V Portland:

Gyasi Zardes nodding home the equalizer before halftime. That takes him to 8 goals on the season. Dude should be getting a call-up in Sept.

Robbie Rogers continues to impress at LB. He has all of the physical tools to play that position for the USMNT i.e. pace, a motor, exceptional crossing, and his defense is much better than one might think. Would not be surprised if he stays at LB for LA, and Klinsmann comes calling at some point.

Good game so far

I'll be attending the SJ Quakes vs Sounders game at the new 49ers stadium tonight.

Just found out that since this is the first game, the city wanted this game to be the first test by only allowing 45,000 tickets to be sold .....

Should be cool!

I was at the galaxy game. Galaxy dominated most of the game and deserved the win. Zardes should of had 2 goals. Like I said before when he starts making smart decisions and putting his shots on TARGET he can easily lead the mls in scoring.

Also currently watching the Man U vs Madrid game. Largest crowd in us soccer history. I think it might be a world record. Wish usa would play Mexico there I think they can get over 110k with over 90% being usa fans.

On my way to the Fire-Crew match, its beautiful summer nights like these make me wonder why anyone would ever think of playing MLS on a European schedule.

Bradley putting some nice passes for the toronto vs Impact. Is it just me of Bradley has been struggling in to put in the attacking part of his game? e.i his pirlo like passes. He seems to be getting more yellows then assists. He should be racking the assists with a dangerous forward that is defoe

N Y V NE:

Charlie Davies with New Englands first half goal. And I have to say Davies is starting to look really good the past two games for the Revs. The Revs have looked better as Davies as the Lone striker. Could Davies make a USMNT comeback in this WC cycle?

Miazga with a harsh red card. I don't see that upholding with the disciplinary committee.

Highly doubt it, not with all the talent coming up in the national team but hey its good for him to get back to scoring ways and playing minutes.

Jay Heaps continues to show bad game subs.

Why on earth are you replacing your goal scorer/main attacking threat who was the Revs most efficient passer, at 90% in the 60th minute? And then continue to play Bunbury a turnover machine? That just boggles my mind. Jay Heaps tinkers in game way to much.

I think hes still growing as a coach. Hopefully he can learn from these mistakes. I think sometimes when you are a younger coach you try to get a little too fancy with substutions. I think as he ages he will learn from this. Agree about bunbury ever since he tore his acl a couple years ago he hasnt been the same player. I think hes an average striker and a below average winger. Hes 24 and he needs to work on a lot of things the next couple years.
