Believe the game ended with a US U-17 win over Paraguay 2-1.

The US hasn't looked as good since Gallardo went out injured after the first game.

What was Gallardo's position prior to getting hurt?

Also, has Pulisic's effectiveness waned since he left as well?

Gallardo played the lone striker spot which frees up Haji Wright to do what he is good at: going at players and running off of the shoulder of Gallardo. Haji has had to play the lone striker spot a position where he isn't as effective.

Actually Pulisic has stepped up since Gallardo went out injured. Probably his best tournament so far.

I am also not a fan of this rigid adherence to the 4-3-3 at the U-17 and U-20 levels. Sometimes you need to be able to switch to a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 when it's necessary.

Wow we are owning them on penalties 3-0. Either our goalkeeper is a monster or they are terrible penalty takers lol
