Rumor that it could be Altidore at least that was 7 days ago.

Apparently it would be on loan since Jozy was bought for quite a bit of money. My guess is jozy wants to not only get some confidence back but he also is uncertain of where he stands with Poyet. I also think guaranteed starting time would appeal to him. Although dont discount that it could be jones since while the fire might be interested in him he does seem open to a lot of clubs in mls.

One would hope it would be a loan.

If he is looking for a permanent deal back to MLS I would tell him to wait for Henry to retire with the Red Bulls and head back to his old stomping grounds next season.

Or stay in Europe. 24 is way too young to give up and come back home.

Obviously I have no more information than anyone else but Jozy has access to all the top leagues in Europe. One would think the list of suitors would be long enough that he would be able to stay on the continent if he wanted and play at a competitive level.

Alexi Lalas suggested potentially Mix. To the uninformed fan it would seem that a move for he or Brek as stated earlier would be more likely to happen than Jozy.

+1. I can't imagine he couldn't get a loan deal back to Eresdivisie or some other reasonable league in Europe.

But the thing is do the crew need a midfield? or a striker? Their strikers are not producing. They can move Higuian up and bring a mid but idk if that would work for them
Ill be exciting to see who they bring

I wouldn't mind seeing Jozy back in the MLS. It would beat watching Sunderland.

I am in no way insinuating this was why he had a poor World Cup, but it sure is interesting that MB90's poor WC came after his move back home to MLS.

Jozy needs to stay and play against the top players in the world.

It is also interesting that Dempsey scored twice after coming back to Seattle and going on a scoring tear to start the season. That argument can go both ways.

Dempsey scored two goal. Tim Cahill scored 2 goals heck one could have been goal of the tournament. You had the defender from Costa Rica that played in the Crew playing quality defense.
Michael Bradley played out of position he isnt a creative midfielder he is a DMid. It obvious that when you are higher up the pitch which he was as a CAM then you have less time to move the ball versus a DM which is his position coming out the back. Not a coincidence he finally made the Bradley like pass against Belgium for Greens goal.

True. I wasn't saying that's why he played poorly, just a thought I had.

And I agree about Gonzalez for Costa Rica. Guy played out of his mind.
