Bump. MLS changed their rules to be more transparent and avoid another Jones debacle. They made a public list of players subject to the allocation order process. It includes US national team players playing in Europe that currently have no link to the MLS like Aron and Fabian and yet it doesn't include other US national team players playing in Europe without a link to MLS like Chandler, Brooks, Williams and Boyd.

I don't know what determines whether a US national team player is subject to the allocation process. It cannot be based on caps as the guys not subject to the order have the same or more caps than Aron.

I really don't understand why MLS cannot get this right. Surely they must have meetings on these topics before they go public with their approach.
