Houston will sign a World Cup veteran that plays CM according to Extra Time. Might that be Jones? Highly unlikely because of Houston spendings history

I doubt it's an American. Both Jones and Kljestan would be subject to the allocation process unless Jones is magically given immunity to that process a la Dempsey and Bradley. Signing Beasley and Jones as DPs in the same week would be incredible for Houston. I think Kljestan would get snatched up quite quickly via allocation so I highly doubt it's him.

Toronto has 3 DPs...

I say he'll go to whatever Chivas becomes in the rebrand. But not sure it'll happen this summer.

Gilberto is still a DP according to the Wiki page...I'm thinking it's going to have to be inevitable for a 4th DP spot to be added before the next WC.

What MLS team would be best for Jones. I dont think NYCFC is looking at him the club seems to be targetting big names although it would be nice to have an USMNT star in the new team. What about Jones to Orlando who would be Orlando 3rd DP

Its funny that Revs are in desperate need of a DM and you have Jones right there looking for a job in MLS. Only thing is stopping this is money and the willingness to spend it. If Revs add Jones which would be perfect for both the Revs might go back to last season form

I think he could do wonders for Chicago and it would give him a big city environment that he is rumored to be interested in.

I haven't heard of any concrete teams from Europe really interested in Gonzo. The last team to show a lot of interest was Club America last year before he signed his DP contract with LA.

I have heard that Jones may be asking for to much money. That's why MLS or an MLS team hasn't pulled the trigger on him. I would put his value around 2.5 to 3 million a year. Rumor is that he is looking at what Deuce and MB90 are making, and he wants that same type of payday.

I honestly don't even believe MLS clubs want to pay Jones that much. I think they see him at $1.5-2million/yr max.
