Im really excited that Beas is back but I am bummed DC dropped the ball on signing him and by dropped the ball I mean apparently had no interest.

So Houston traded Warren Creavalle to Toronto for the top allocation spot in order to get Beasley as a DP. What's the deal? I thought DPs weren't subject to the lottery and hence why Dempsey and Bradley were not subject to the allocation process.

MLS dp rules are strange so for bradley and dempsey they got a league exemption. Because they meet a certain threshold by mls they were not subjected to allocation ranking. Beasley apparently did not meet that threshold.

TFC has Gilberto, Bradley and Defoe on DP contracts. Unless Gilberto is let go because he has been disappointing for majority of the season then Jones wont go to TFC.

Plus they just traded their allocation spot for Creavalle. They're not holding out for anybody.
