#USMNT World Cup left back DaMarcus Beasley (free agent) in talks about return to #MLS. DP contract would avoid allocation order.

Will be cool to see where he ends up.

hopefully where ever he goes they play him as a LB. He is much better there at this point in his career, than he is as a Winger.

He may be one of the few players to start in 3 different World Cups, in 3 different positions.

His first choice would be Chicago if Chicago are willing to give him a DP contract, and yes absolutely Beas is worth a DP contract. I would say a million a year.

DC United got rid of Cristian and have had Korb filling in at LB. DC also has two DP spots available...

Message to Thohir: if you spend a crapload to sign Beasley, I promise to buy at least one $30 ticket to a United match this year. Think about it, my offer won't last forever.

The Fire are saying the price for Beasley will likely be too high for them. I have mixed feelings, on the one hand this is one less challenger for DC United. On the other hand, if Beasley isn't coming to DC I would have liked to have seen him back with the Fire as I enjoy seeing players reunite with their old clubs.

Andrew Hauptmann is and has been a cheap ass with our professional team since buying the Fire, but has spent a lot of money on building academies and grassroots projects so I cant kill him for not wanting to spend money on my favorite player, Damarcus Beasley. Sure to get a big hand in Chicago when he visits for another team. FYI, Columbus Ohio is really close to Fort Wayne Indiana as well as I know Damarcus would love to be close to home. Why not Columbus Crew?

Beasley will end up in Eastern Conference. Best I can tell, not DC, TFC, NE, CHI, MON, ORL, NYCFC. My hunch is Houston.

Nice. Will be interesting to see if he plays leftback or left wing with Corey Ashe as the leftback.

Goff's latest tweet.

Good morning. Hoping for more Beasley news today. Sounds like Dynamo looking to move Ashe. Another club may enter chase at last minute

Wait if he plays LB he kicks out Ashe if he plays LM he kicks out davis so who will it be? You gotta think its gonna be Ashe. Or Maybe Housten moves Davis to a more Central Role - LCM since he doesnt have the pace Beasley or Ashe have or even move him RM so he can cut in and shoot with his favorite Left foot. Thoughts on that also this make Houston a bit more sexier but not that much. Its been a while since they have a USMNT active player.
